Great opener. Works well, solid but lighter than the one I replaced. Has a pointed part which allows you to release the pressure on hard to open metal jar lids on vacuum sealed jars.

Very easy and smooth turning. This is a much better can opener than the swingaway branded one. This one is still made in the US and its high quality shows. Get one if you need and want a manual can opener, you will be happy you did.

Looks just like the one my mom had in her drawer 40 years ago. I opened a can with it today and it did very well. We'll see how it holds up and I will update the review.Update: this is the smoothest cutting can opener I've ever had.
