Wild River 3606 Multi-Tackle Large Backpack

Once I got the actual 3606 bag I was extremely pleased. I made the mistake of trying to save a few dollars and initially got one from warehouse deals that was actually a 3508 (smaller) and did not come with promised trays (additional rip off). The 3606 is as small a bag as you will want to get if you are like me and you like to carry a good deal of stuff with you. This is my third back pack tackle bag with a 3600 four box configuration. I had an Okuma that did not live very long,, maybe a year or two, that was somewhat similar and I am now retiring one that has been loyal to me for many years from Bass Pro Shops and I was able to transition all my gear over to this bag before it was terminal in the field. The Death of the BPS bag was due to cheap plastic bottom. Wild River was good in having some hardened raised rubber edges that should prevent this particular problem. I'd have loved to Wild River have some neat additions but electric stuff breaks and the price point on this one was much better. At night time I'm using a head lamp so a lighted bag isn't needed and knowing me I'd accidentally turn it on and kill the battery before it broke :) I do wish it came with a hardened sun glass holder on it but I'm not willing to pay over 50 for that!ProsLess expensive than other Wild River BagsSturdy constructionFairly room for a back pack configurationhardened raised corners on bottom to reduce wearConsThe price, I doubt you will find it under $70 everNo hardened sun-glass holderNo light if you care. Our family loves to fish. From rivers and lakes to bays and oceans. We bought two of these to separate our light and heavy tackle. We couldn't be happier. There is so much room! We don't have enough tackle to fill it! There are so many compartments to put stuff and you can even use the top compartment as a cooler for your lunch. The material the product is made from is sturdy and durable. It is definitely NOT cheaply made. The zipper construction is also strong. The metal zipper ends are tagged with neon green ties to make them easily identifiable. The plastic zipper teeth themselves are made of a thick heavy black plastic. The color is exactly how it is pictured. Vibrant neon green on the inside of all compartments and the darker hunter green on the outside. One of the most awesome benefits to this product is its hands free back pack design! Being avid fishermen/women, this is a well appreciated design option. Your hands are free to carry your poles easily instead of fumbling when trying to carry a conventional tackle box and your poles! The backpack straps are adjustable and also made of heavy durable construction material. It was very comfortable to carry when we were walking the Florida gulf coast shoreline while spotting and catching snook! After using this product for fishing you will never go back to using a conventional tackle box again!

I ordered this backpack because I've started taking my daughter fishing with me, and carrying tackle boxes, reels, and making sure she doesn't run off is a literal handful. This backpack takes care of the tackle box part of it.First and foremost, it is a great fishing backpack. Lots of compartments that are well laid out for all your needs. I've put a pair of forceps and a fillet knife in the straps on the front, and all my gear from 2 previous tackle boxes fit easily in the various pouches. Only downside is that the 'with trays' option only comes with 2 trays, even though it can fit 4. I went out and bought a waterproof tray, and an additional standard tray to complete the set. Waterproof tray keeps hooks and weights from rusting/corroding. The main compartment is capable of being divided in two by a Velcro divider. The trays go in the bottom, and I am keeping all my soft plastics in the top. Easily accessible. I have only carried it into the field once since I got it (3 days ago) but it was very comfortable to walk the 1/4 mile to the pier.

I didn't need a lighting system or the solar panel version. the other two variations of this exact same bag sell for quite a bit more while the very same bag without all the gadgets is this one.Very impressed. The design, use of space, and concept is done very well. That can be better gleaned from looking at a YouTube video review of the bag.What I c an attest to is the quality of the stitching.l and the zippers. This thing is just built very well. The straps that allow one to carry the bag over a shoulder were my main concern. I was happy to see that stitching and reinforcement in that area was very good. I expect it should last years. We shall see.

I bought this for my boyfriend who loves to fish, and now loves this backpack. This fits everything he needs, and more, plus is not too heavy and the chest strap is an added bonus. He uses it everyday that he goes fishing, and we recently used it for a camping trip on an island. It is not waterproof, however it is decently water resistant, and sits up on it's own.

Tried hard to find a reason to give this 5stars but the top opening is to narrow for no good reason and I can’t believe the bottom isn’t waterproof. However lots of room in side pockets and the large box area is great, they should of made the front pocket as deep as the side ones are. Have only used it a couple times but is comfortable to wear and so much more convenient than a tackle box. All the zippers look heavy duty but time will tell.

I bought this tackle bag for my husband for his birthday. He loves it. The trays it came with are well made. Zippers and materials of the bag are very good quality. Lots of pockets and storage. Very comfortable to wear. Highly recommend.

Holds 4 3600 boxes, sturdy I like how it sits up in the boat, holds all the gear I need for a full day. Quality tackle boxes too

This product is fantastic! Now I can carry my two kids, fishing rods, beer cooler, and all my tackle at the same time!

Hubby loves!!! this tackle bag - especially that it is a backpack. Very well made, lots of pockets and space and keeps things well organized.
