Astounding
This series first caught my eye with the story of Targa a water Elemental. That Novel was exquisite for me. The Elemental Origins Series is an amazingly written saga of each girls experiences and then bringing them all together. I haven't stopped turning the pages and will go on to start the next of Targa's story as I can't wait to read what's in store for her next. Thank You A.L. Knorr for such an amazing literary creation to dive into and make us readers feel like we have a front row seat inside their stories!

The Elementals work together to get rid a company and a very strong demon.
Wow. I'm so impressed with your story telling. I just finished the Elemental Original Series and I want more of each girl and their supernatural powers. A.L.Knorr has a series of stories for each girl, so how lucky am I. These fantasy stories are about the teenage girls' love for each other and a crazy summer when they all discover their supernatural powers! Each of the girls will use their power to right wrongs and save their town from an ancient demon.

Decent conclusion
I know this book got a lot of great reviews for the ending but I think it could have been better. I am not saying it was bad but it was definitely a little disappointing plus it ended on a huge cliffhanger that didn't really tie up any of the loose ends.Questions that I have is why did the author decide to tell this story from Saxony (mostly), Petra and Akiko's point of view? It should have been from all of the characters, I have a feeling that Saxony is the author's favorite character. Why didn't Saxony tell Georji what Basil told her about the Wise?Petra is so practically the most powerful elemental so why does she not have her own spinoff? What's next for Akiko? What about the twin mages that Saxony met, where were they when this was happening? So many unanswered questions and there were grammatical errors which sucks especially when they mess up the flow of the story. It was an ok ending, but could have been way better. I wanted to give this a 3.5 but that's not an option, I think I am being generous with a 4. But this by no means concluded the series in a clear and concise manner.

wraps things up but leaves enough questions for follow-up series
This is the final book in this series. The other first 4 books focus on four best friends who spend the summer before their senior year in high school apart - all abroad and secretly learning of their special affinities with a particular element, while the 5th book introduces a new character. In this last installment, the original four are reunited at the end of the summer to share their experiences, with the newest elemental introducing herself to enlist them into a what’s billed as a humanitarian project. When things turn out to be nothing as they seemed, the girls must come together to use their talents to protect their hometown from a destructive force. This is the long-awaited reunion! I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a better explanation of why these particular talents developed in girls who were friends. Did their latent abilities bring them together? The adversary in this book is a lot more fantastical than anything the girls faced in the previous books. There are a few surprises, and while this is the end of this series, there will be other series spun-off from this one. Can’t wait to start them!

but…
But you can’t leave Akiko’s story there. The rest is amazing & obviously can’t wait to read the other’s stories, but Akiko…

Slow Start
I really did enjoy the previous books in this series. This one though, I had difficulty getting into. I think it was because a new character was introduced. In any case I would pick this book up, read a few pages and put it back down. This went on for months! I pushed through, and it wasn’t until I was about 63% into it, that the story clicked for me. I did enjoy it but it was a mission to get to the end.

Must read
I thought we had seen all supernatural beings in this series with the five individual stories already. I was wrong. The sixth book tells us what happens when all five girls get back from their summer trips around the world.I liked how the story was told from different points of view with the chapters indicating whose inner monologue we were reading. I would have like there to have been more of the other girls instead of just Saxony and Petra. The four friends share their stories of what happened in the summer and thought their lives couldn’t get stranger until Petra shows up and offers them an opportunity. However, none of the girls realise the danger they may be putting the world in.We also see more of Petra’s personal life, how she couldn’t get back in touch with Jesse until he mysteriously appears in Saltford with some upsetting information.

Enchanting
This is the final book in the elemental series. This book follows petra, targa, saxony, georgi and akiko. They are head hunted by a company that wishes to do some good with all the elements at hand. It is written from three of the girls prospective and follows how their story unfolds as they discover Saltford is facing a new threat. But can they overcome this threat? They must work together and separately with an unexpected twist. This book has the reader gripped from start to finish. My favourite character is Jesse. He has secrets but he turns out good in the endMy least favourite character is mrs marks. Her intentions are completely wrong and she really doesn't seem to care so it makes it worse.I would definately recommend this book.

You must read The Elemental Origins Series
I really enjoyed this series, the characters, the structure and the stories. Well written and with believable relationships. I really warmed to the 4 central characters and now want to be a mermaid!! All the first five books work individually and come together well in the final book. Definitely want to read more by A.L. Knorr, the most enjoyable fantasy novels I have read in a long time.
