Amazon Basics Straight Cut Aviation Snip

bought these as spare/back up for aluminum gutter guards. They cut straight -even through stroke, tips nibbled well, really surprised by them. I have a higher end pair and didn't savor idea of dropping them into the ground from 20 feet. I only did 80 pieces of aluminum frame gutter so no idea how long these hold up. But for price, great set.

These appear to be good quality and I used these to cut a metal shed to install a vent. Overall very easy to use and with the 3 different options, it was easy to cut the metal without much strain / effort.Note: I used a drill to create a hole first and then used these snips to cut out a roughly 6"x6" square in the metal shed.

Have bought 2. Great value for price. Use for a variety of things. Build quality is good.

I do HVAC cleaning for a living and cut 2 8 inch holes in every job I do. These things seem like they are gonna hold up for a while and they cut very well. My only gripe is the grip. My hand slides up as I’m cutting. Idk if it’s the material or the shape or what but it could definitely be improved. I’m not mad considering the price and the ease they cut. They aren’t WISS but they also aren’t WISS money.

I tried scissors, wire cutters, stronger scissors... but I couldn't cut off some metal zip ties. Got the aviation / tin snips to do the job, and they were perfect! Cut the metal zip ties like a hot knife through butter.Build quality is good, comfortable grips.

I bought this to cut through sheet metal. It is very well made and has good weight. It’s very ergonomic as well. It cut through my steel credit cards that I was disposing of very easily.
