    Precious

I own the Santa Muerte Tarot from Lo Scarabeo and that decks is very colorful and bold like Mexican Folk Art.The Happy Tarot is more of a pastel color scheme but also colorful. Holding it makes me happy. Like heart squishy level happy. This is like candy land a bit. Their little foods look so delicious. I love how the naked characters are sensored with silly little symbols almost like nip pasties. 🤣I got this deck because I want to do deep diving into shadow work and I felt an adorable deck would help me receive strong, potentially scary messages with gentleness. I haven't used the deck yet I received it about 30 minutes ago.The box is weak compared to all my other decks. I think I will look for the Happy Tarot travel bag so it has a longer life. The cards are thin but I'm always gentle with my decks so not a problem for me.The little book is not great for beginners. All the definitions fit into 22 pages. Probably not a huge deal since most people use the internet to supplement their learning.I never knew I'd be a tarot deck and oracle cards collector when I picked up this hobby in 2022 but I'm happy this little deck is my 7th one! *Snorts fairy dust* I can quit whenever I want! The photos were taken outside with indirect sunlight. No filter.

    RWS Tarot meets candy land

*by N***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2015*

Happy Tarot by Serena Ficca is a lighthearted tarot that replaces the people in the Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) Tarot with children. The artwork is cartoonish even Chibi-like, and the scenery get a lighthearted treatment similar to the candy themed world from candy land or Sugar Rush from Wreaked Ralph. These cards are the standard LoScarabeo size. The back of these cards are reversible, showing images of cotton candy clouds covered with lollypops, strawberries and ... candy in a moonlighted night sky. The front of the cards have a thin border colored cream with a small symbol on top and bottom. The Major Arcana are labeled with roman numbers (starting at 0) at the top and bottom. These cards match the imagery of the RWS tarot. Alterations to the imagery have been incorporated to follow the candy land theme and can be observed best through out the Major Arcana. For example: The Fool is walking of a cliff, but the cliff is a giant cup cake sprinkled with candy and Death is riding a wooden horse. Happy Tarot includes the symbols from the RWS tarot, but these less obvious such as the infinity symbol on The Magician hat.The Minor Arcana are labeled with a suit symbols at the top and a number or a court symbol at the bottom. The four suits illustrated in this deck are: ice cream filled cups, cookie like pentacles, candy canes and wooden swords. Just like in the RWS tarot, these correspond to the elements of Water, Earth, Fire and Air. The pips cards are numbered 1 to 10 at the bottom and the court cards are labeled with one of four symbols: King Crown, Queen Crown, Wooden Horse Head and Magic Wand. These correspond to the King, Queen, Knight and Page. This deck comes in a fitting box with a litle white book (LWB). The LWB is the most disappointing part of this deck. It is written in English, Italian, Spanish, French and German. There is information on how to use the cards and a divination meaning for each card. The meaning is always made a bit "happier" with the last sentence. For Example: Death, "You can find happiness by accepting endings as inevitable"; The Devil, "You can find happiness by breaking the chains that bind you"; and The Tower, "You can find happiness in releasing what is not longer needed". Ok?!Over all, I love this tarot lightheartedness a lot. It is basically a fun remake of the the RWS tarot and that is not a bad thing. Recommended for many collectors.

so glad that I purchased it

*by K***L on Reviewed in the United States on May 31, 2016*

It took me awhile to find a deck I truly connected with -- other decks didn't appeal to me, weren't beginner-friendly, or would give me inaccurate readings (half the time, the cards had nothing to do with the situation at hand). The second I saw this deck, I knew I had to have it, and I am so, so glad that I purchased it. This deck always gives me spot-on readings. The cards are beautifully colored -- I am personally drawn to art styles that have simple lines and clean colors, and this deck is the epitome of that.I have to add one more thing, on the off chance that the creator will see this (as well as sharing an awesome use for these cards with the rest of you!): my therapist asked me to keep a daily journal of my mental health, a task which proved to be extremely difficult for me. I never knew what to write down, I felt really gloomy and couldn't see the good in anything...it was a mess. One day I came up with the idea of drawing a card from this deck and journaling about how, if at all, it's meaning related to my life. Not even in a divination way (though I do use them for that, too), but just using it as a new point of view to consider. For instance, drawing the three of hearts prompts me to look at my situation and evaluate, "Am I making mountains out of molehills? Am I letting my anxiety create unnecessary drama in my life?" This deck, above all others, works great for this task since the LWB explains each card with a positive statement such as "You can be happy by _____" so it's got the positivity that a mentally ill person needs in their life. I mentioned this to my therapist one day and showed her the deck. She LOVED the idea and ended up asking if she could recommend the deck to her other clients and show them how to use the cards this way! So not only am I recommending this to anyone who owns this deck and thinks that might be useful in their lives, but I also wanted to say a public thank you to the creator for the deck; probably unintended, but it's helping dozens of mentally ill people work through their problems. THANK YOU!
