The special equipment includes a machine to provide heat and pressure to attach this glass to your screen. You also need adhesive (not included) to glue your phone back together when you're done.Do a search to understand how to do it yourself before you buy this product.

I confused the availability of this product with the ease of replacement - not the case! Make sure you have all the supplies, equipment, and qualifications before moving forward with replacing "just the glass"!
