Like many others have said no problems going through security.Just before stowing my bag I lay the belt extender in the seat & it’s easy peasy to attach and full comfort. As soon as the flight is stopped that’s the first thing I unhook and have in hand so not to forget. Love having this and nothing is ever said from the flight crew. I don’t even have to take out of purse or pocket of carry-on during security.

Wow! This extended seatbelt really works. I used it on American Airlines (Boeing 77W, 772), Aegean Airlines (Airbus Industrie A321), Finnair (Airbus A321), and British Airways (Airbus A321). The extender is black, which was the color of the seatbelts in the planes above. I had no TSA security problems with it in my purse or carry-on at any of the airports. It was convenient and made traveling so comfortable. No need to ask the flight attendant for one and superfast to connect... meaning no one noticed it. I'm quite sure the flight attendants were puzzled that I didn't need one of theirs...LOL. The belt is quite long and has to be tightened to achieve safety requirements. The major problem is remembering to take it with you when exiting the plane. I purchased the twin pack and carried the extra in my suitcase just in case I did forget it. It does have an E4 certification lable on the tag and I will purchase again. I'm a genuine customer and was not paid to endorse or review this product.

Traveling from Hawaii to anywhere on the mainland is at least 5.5 hours and to be tied down in a seat belt that barely fits for that long is excruciatingly difficult. Yes both US Airways and American Airline's belt fit but it was tight and uncomfortable but instead of going through the agony I decided to secure my extension. Not that I cared if anyone noticed (I was actually quite proud) no one did. There is no sense in going through the discomfort when you don't have to. Unless you pay extra, there's no leg room or width room for your bottom. The last thing I needed was another area to feel trapped. It was worth the money, worth the trouble, small enough to fit in my purse and the little bag it comes in was delightful. Thank you Amazon for carrying these. I didn't even know these things existed outside of the airlines until I actually searched it on your site simply out of whim. The seat belt extenders should be a staple to anyone who needs a little extra room, including pregnant women. I'm not but I do have Fibromyalgia but wished these were around when I was.

Yeah, I'm fat. I don't spill over my seat though. I just need a little extra oomph! when buckling into an airline seat made for people who don't get gas, never have pms bloating or haven't eaten anything other than lettuce and air in their lives. This helped out a lot and I didn't have to bother the stewardesses to ask for theirs. They didn't complain about me using one. And it was nice to not have to hold my breath until the "fasten seat belt" sign went off. I used this on all four flights (2 KLM, 1 Aegean Air, 1 Air France), but check your airplanes to make sure they use this type (most airlines do).

I will never travel without my own seatbelt extender again! Previously I would have to trying and get the flight attendants attention to discreetly ask for an extender and then wait for them to be done with getting the other passengers settled before receiving it. With this seatbelt extender I could find my seat and get buckled in right away. It worked on both United and American Airline seatbelts with no problem. At the end of each flight I could simply fold it back up, put it in the carrying bag that comes with it and be on my way.

Works great, will make travel much easier

We bought these for extra room in our seatbelts on delta. These work great and come with a nice velveteen punch for each extender. TSA and Delta personnel did not complain of our usage. This also allows you the comfort of not being embarrassed to ask for an extender upon entering the aircraft.

Worked well on a recent flight. Flight attendants didn’t seem to notice that it was any different than their belts. Gave me a little extra room and comfort on a long flight.

I am very pleased with this product. It seems to be well-made and I feel it would work as expected ...also it comes with a bag for storage and travel... Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to use it on the plane trip I was taking as it had not arrived within the anticipated delivery date. I was impressed that the company from which the belts were purchased contacted me and took action to compensate for the late delivery. I felt the product was definitely worthy of keeping in the hopes of a future trip and I would not hesitate to do business with this company again.

Tried it on Sunwing, 737. Works great. Has it's own little bag and was shipped quickly.

Took this extender on a recent trip and it was so handy. No waiting for a FA to bring you an extender, no having to awkwardly ask....came with a nice velvety bag, fits nicely in my handbag, came with a certificate to prove it's yours, and you're not stealing it from the plane. Only problem I encountered was once at the airport in Delhi when at security screening; the staff scanned my bag and said I had a "belt". I was so confused, until I realized what he meant, and he was actually quite rude about it. Ultimately he let it through, and I didn't encounter that during my other 2 departures from Delhi, or any of the other airports I used it in (Goa, Kathmandu, and several airports in Canada).
