This is the mot awesome waffle iron we have ever used.
This waffle iron is extremely fast, cooks evenly, and make very crisp waffles. It is more expensive than the cheap ones, but it is worth every penny. My grandchildren love waffles nearly every day, and now it is a cinch to mix a little batter and they eat them all. We cook plain ones, chocolate chip waffles, spam and corn waffles, cinnamon and nut waffles (you ought to try all four.) Nothing sticks and it is very sturdy. I've had many waffle irons over the years, but this is the best of them all.

Excellent Waffles!
Works great. A bit of a challenge to clean, but still the beat waffle maker I’ve used. Waffles do not stick at all. The timer signal (light and tone) make it easy to cook a waffle whilst finishing up other things for breakfast. Very worthwhile purchase if you like waffles!

Great small waffle-maker, attractive design.
Simple to use and clean and takes up minimal storage space. Heats up quickly and cooks a waffle to perfection in three minutes.

Great American Classic Waffles!
We searched everywhere for a waffle iron to make classic waffles. If you are not sure on the difference think of a Waffle House waffle. They are thinner and have smaller grid spacing. This had the most spacing I could find. It’s also a fairly well known brand in waffle making. You can even find more information and different flavor mixes on their website as waffles are what they do! We are happy with our purchase and have made more waffles in the last few months than we have in the past ten years with our older off brand Belgian waffle maker!

handle broke after 10 uses
Got about 10 uses out of it when the handle broke. For the price, handles should not be breaking off disappointed since the waffle comes out great. I'm going to see if I can order a handle, hate to have to deal with it only 5 months after buying it.

We tried this one and are only slightly satisfied. We prefer the traditional waffle
My husband keeps dropping waffle irons and breaking them. We tried this one and are only slightly satisfied. We prefer the traditional waffle, rather than the Belgian waffle, so we have fewer choices of quality waffle irons. This one is sturdy and definitely pretty cool looking. It has multiple doneness settings and the waffle iron sounds when it is ready for batter and when the waffle is done. Here is where we are not thrilled. This waffle iron does not cook evenly, the outer edge does not get as dark as the center. Turning up the darkness setting helped even it out, but not completely. For the price, this is probably the best and sturdiest traditional waffle iron available right now. Ours has not yet been tested in the "drop-on-ceramic-tile-floor" test. When it does get tested, I will update the review.

Where has this Waffle Maker been all my life?!
Took me years to find a good waffle Machine that was not for Belgian waffles! When this arrived I immediately opened it up, cleaned it and used it! The waffles come out perfectly every single time! I do still advise a light spray of oil on both of the waffle iron plate before each waffle. The Teflon coating is quite well made but for the longevity of any Teflon coated product, I recommend not using metal utensils in it because they will damage the Teflon over time and cause it to break and peel off into your food in the end. The darkness settings have a wide range of cooking levels. #1 being the lightest in color. I typically use #6 for my waffles because I can freeze the leftovers and pull them out one at a time and reheat them just like toast. It does have a"done" beep which can be a little loud, but I've found it actually allows me to move about the house to get a few things done until it beeps, and I can hear it so I can get distracted but as long as I'm in earshot of the machine the waffles will still be perfect! To date I have used it for the following and it remains faithfully nonstick!Traditional WafflesBanana WafflesApple Pie Filling WafflesPumpkin Pie Filling WafflesTater Tot Waffles (tater tots must be thawed)No waffle batter is used for the Tater Tot Waffles. As for the other, I use a premade pancake powder mix and substitute much of the water with the puréed additions and for the chunky additions I make the batter according to the directions and fold in the filling after the initial batter mixing. So I highly recommend this machine. I've had it now for three months and have put it through the gauntlet, but it never fails! I would have bought a second one but I don't have the room!
