I searched a lot of iPad stands before settling on this one and I believe I made the right choice!! I don't write reviews often but this needed a review. The cost is reasonable. It's simple. It's very sturdy. It doesn't compromise the edges in any way. The iPad Air 1st Gen fits perfectly in there with a very snug fit. And it folds down and food for travel. However, if traveling with it, I did have my bags hand checked by TSA. It was because of this item. They were very nice about it and made the suggestion that when I fly again with it, take it out of my bag and put it out in one of the Bins as it has medal in it and they couldn't tell what it was when in my bag. So that's a good tip to know if you'd like to travel with it. If you are looking for simple, sleek, sturdy, this is your choice!!

This stand is almost perfect. It is very sturdy and the tablet is held very snug. The only issue I have is that when you attempt to remove the tablet, the grips are pretty strong. You almost need three hands: two to pull the grips apart and a third to hold the tablet. Don't get me wrong, I think this is necessary; just a slight nuisance as I am placing the tablet on and removing it from the stand frequently. Maybe after time they will loosen slightly. Otherwise the stand does its job!

I needed something to hold my samsung tablet due to arthritic hands. This turns easily from landscape to portrait. I use on my sidetable next to my recliner. I would have given 5 stars but this is my 3rd time buying. Be careful, breaks at the weakest point on the stand. I really like this product but if breaks again...I will not buy again

This is one of the best gadgets I've gotten off of Amazon in some time. I was so surprised when i received my iPad stand and discovered that it was not a cheap piece of plastic. I bought one for myself and the other for my dad for Father's Day and he simply loves it. What I like the most about it is not having to constantly hold my head down to view my iPad screen. Having my iPad eye level makes it much easier to view movies on Netflix and enjoy watching YouTube videos etc. You get my point. This is a great alternative to the more expensive tablet stands for desk top or point of sale usage. This stand holds my iPad in a way that still allows the use of the headphone jack for a credit card reader. It holds the iPad firmly. however the base of the stand is not weighted so it is not as sturdy as the square reader I am use to.

Disappointed in the stand as it was unstable and would move with every letter typed. Very frustrating to work with as a pos system. Don’t recommend at all for serious users.

It's not a bad stand, it fits my iPad Mini just fine. I bought it to use at a vendor show so I could take payments with my Paypal reader. I wish it would tilt back more. It's good if you plan on using it when sitting down. I'm always standing when I check customers out so for me the angle was awkward and I didn't end up using it.

I like that 360 rotation feature. However, this is the second stand I have purchased on amazon. The first stand broke after two tears where it wouldn’t rotate and it disengaged from the the part and could not be repaired. Before that happened, the thin gray 3 inch grip strip came unglued from the bottom of the stand. I tried to reapply it but it won’t stay attached. Second stand, purchased last October still works ok but the gray 3 inch strip has become detached from the second stand and cannot be clued back on. These design flaws are frustrating and the manufacturers should go back and explore these functionality issue. I won’t purchase another product made by Kastor Stand 360. Today, January 13, 2021, the stand began to come apart at the base of the stem for the stand . I will not purchase a third one.
