ACDelco G12 Series 3-Tool Combo , 3/8" Ratchet Wrench & 2-speed Polisher & 3/8" Impact Wrench, 2-battery, ARW1208-K12

While this is considered as 3 tool kit, it's basically polisher kit with two bare tools.So you get like a polisher kit with a ratchet and an impact wrench bare tools.But as most tools are not available as bare tools, I like this configuration.Now, here are my short reviews of each tool.ARS1214 (Polisher)I like two speed. It's said to have 2800/7600 RPM. Old ARS1212 has only one speed, 2800 RPM, which is about the same as most drill's high speed, so I'd say this is a lot better.Haven't used much, but it feels comfortable and worked well when I was restoring my car's headlight.By the way, while this is considered as a kit, ARS1214 kit sold in Amazon includes the plastic case.While I think it's not necessary, having a plastic case could be good for this polisher kit.ARW1208 (Ratchet)Haven't used yet, but somewhat feels better in hand than ARW1209, which I bought and returned.And, this is more known as Earth something XT in Harbor blahblah store for most people. So, I believe there are tons of reviews about this.ARI12104 (Impact wrench)Very small and light. Power isn't even as powerful as 18V impact drivers, but works well for taking out small bolts of my car, so I think this would be enough for small maintenance.But the problem is, as being a new hog ring anvil, it's incredibly hard to put sockets. I prefer detent pin due to this problem, but until the ring somewhat wears down, putting sockets will be very time consuming and it can be a serious problem for those who work in a busy shop.And, while not a problem of the tool itself, this was put in the box tightly without any bag or something protecting the tool. So, the handle part that contacts the sharp corner of the box insert is badly scratched (as in the picture), and it was bit disappointing.Other tools were also not protected, but they were not too bad as there was no sharp corner contacting the tool.Anyway, although there are some minor problems, I am happy I got this while this set was available.

First off, lets start off with one thing clear. these are NOT the red brand Fuel or even brushless tools. If you want Red Fuel tools, go spend the money on them. Now that that is out of the way, these are Fantastic tools. I ordered these to replace my older "heavy Duty" line of ACDelco 12v tools. Nothing wrong with the old ones, but the batteries are getting harder to find, and my wife has some HF earthquake tools that share the battery with these, meaning I can get batteries locally, and cheap. Win, win. compared to my older kit, these are a little better, a little smaller, a little lighter, just nicer. The one thing I don't get, is why even bother with the 3/8" impact? For me, it doesn't have the power to be useful, I would rather have the 1/4 hex driver, and some socket adapters, which I ordered, and have been VERY happy with. anything that needs more power than that, I use my 20v Earthquake 3.8 impact, which, also shares batteries with the ACDelco 20v tools. Overall, a good kit, I just wish they would swap out the 3/8 impact for the 1/4 hex driver.

Solid tools for the price. Battery life could be better but the batteries are inexpensive so I keep a few extra pre charged. Ratchet has good torque and feels like an air ratchet. Impact is great for under hood. Moderate torque for breaking loose. The polisher is a bit weak and will time out easily if slightly overloaded. Good value for the money.

Esta compañía acdelco le regresé el producto porque las baterías no duran ni 15 minutos. Y me están robando $41 .no es justo porque si lo que venden no sirve tienen que regresarme completo mi dinero.no usen esta marca es muy mala y si las devuelven se quedan con la mitad

Product arrived with a dead charger....instead of replacing the charger I had to replace everything and reorder. Customer service was not helpful.
