Very Impressed!
I just bought a pair of KRK Rokit 6 G2 monitors. They are pretty large and I had them sitting on my table. Due to their size, they really eat up a lot of space on the table and I was hoping to move them to stands. Looking through the various stands available on Amazon, I was drawn to this one for its great reviews. Therefore, trusting them, I ended up purchasing this and I am very happy I did!The metallic base is incredibly wide (an equilateral triangle with 1 foot sides). This results in it being very stable as well. If you're putting this on a carpet, there are cleats included that can help to prevent the stands for tipping or moving. I found that to be a great bonus item.Moving up to the body of the stands, it's very nicely designed with an intuitive locking mechanism. There are holes drilled into the slide-able portion of the tube at various heights. An included pin is attached to the stand and "locks" into the holes allow you to lock the stand into various positions. I locked my pin in the second hole from the top of the stand to make my monitors be at head level height. Once your pin is securely locked, there is a tightening mechanism which prevents the pin from sliding out. It is your basic "twist-to-tight" mechanism that tightens the grip around the pin and firmly locks it in place. The top of the stand contains the large plates on which you would mount your speakers. They are very large and easily fit my KRK monitors. The plates contain a sort of material that offers a lot of "grip" and allows your speakers to be securely "stuck" to them.Assembly:--------Assembly is VERY easy but you'll need an allen wrench. The set comes separated into 3 portions: Triangular base, tube portion, and top plate. There are screws with washers at both ends of the tube portion. Remove the screws/washers and connect the base and the top plate to the respective ends. Using the allen wrench, tighten the screws (make sure you placed the washer underneath the screw as it provides stability and is integral).

BE CAREFUL for KNOCK OFFS
The actual product represented here JSMS70 are really nice stands. Sturdy, no wobbling, instructions, no crap rattling around inside of them, great stands for the price, I have friends who have them and have checked them out in stores. But beware sellers that will sell you Best Choice stands instead of what your are supposed to be getting. Read the box carefully, the knock offs don't prominently feature any branding and are darn similar in appearance but are very shoddily made. I think many, if not all the negative reviews of this product are from folks who got knock offs and didn't demand a refund. I got a pair of Best Choice brand imitations from a seller called Omega Trading Group, called them on it, they apologized and refunded me while letting me keep the stands. The off brand stands wobble, are different heights, came with a bag of random parts that weren't labeled and are pretty horrible. So just look out because I feel like I could have easily been fooled if I didn't know the difference

Seems sturdy, but has a few fundamental flaws . . . instability, and sympathetic vibrations
I bought these stands to support a pair of JBL LSR305 powered monitor speakers. The stands seem sturdy, and are made with sufficiently heavy materials. But the design has a few fundamental flaws that translate into poor performance.* Triangular Base -- By their nature, triangular bases are less stable than an equivalently sized square base. This stand is no exception. In spite of the base appearing quite large, it's surprisingly unstable in three directions. I stacked a few sandbags on the bottoms of mine to make sure they stay upright regardless.* Pole attachment to base -- The design of the bars/welds/threads that are used to attach the upright pole to the base seem too weak. The design allows some flex, so the pole doesn't feel securely attached to the base, no matter how tight the fasteners. Sand bags on the base also support the pole, so not a huge issue with the light 305s.* Ringing and rattling -- First of all, if you rap on one of these stands with your knuckle while it's empty, it'll ring like a bell. That doesn't really seem like a great property for a speaker stand. Second, the stands -- with my speakers on them, on a 1 1/2" dense urethane foam cushion -- rattled or buzzed *terribly* at certain frequencies. I can't say that I noticed any harsh noises during normal use, but when I ran some Audio Calibration software on my system, the noise was grossly obvious. As the software ran up a continuous tone from 20 Hz up, at some point in the mid-range the upright tube (upper one, attached to the speaker plate) vibrated so hard that it made a *very* loud honking/buzzing sound. I thought it might just be the locking pin in the hole, but it was the whole tube, and I had to grab it pretty firmly with my hand to damp the vibration below audible. This is in spite of having a foam damping pad under the speaker, and sand bags stacked on the base. The two deadly flaws on this stand are the flexy upright, and now the mid-range sympathetic honking. I thought about trying to mechanically strengthen the base attachment, but gave up on the idea since I can't weld. I also thought for a few seconds about plugging the bottom and filling the upright with sand, but -- realizing that this would make the weak joint problem even worse -- I decided to ditch the floor stands altogether and move my monitors onto a pair of custom desktop stands. Honestly, I can't think of a good use for these stands, mainly because of the flexible joint at the base. This worried me with a light LSR305 (only about 10 lbs); I'd hate to try putting some 60 pound beast on this (even with sand bags to stabilize it).

not suitable for larger monitors like yamaha hs8
There is nothing per se wrong with these but I read somebody here said they are suitable for Yamaha HS8's. I want to tell any HS8 owners out there when placed on these stands is not sturdy enough. I had to put sandbags down on these to feel comfortable they wouldn't tip. My advice is to get something more sturdy. Again, nothing wrong with these just not up to task for a larger cabinet monitor like the HS8.

JS MS70 review with tech details
I found it hard & confusing to get proper product dimensions before buying. So putting some basic details here. The speaker base is 9" x 9". The stand base is triangular with 17.5" sides roughly.Installation: 2 screws come attached to the rod at both ends. Open them and attach the stand base below and then the speaker base on top with them. Done.Stand is good quality and reasonably sturdy. Mounted Bose 301 (5.7kg) & it held quite well. Mounted KEF Q300 (7.7kg) and its ok but I would not recommend - too top heavy - seems like it might break if the speakers get hit by kids or housemaid at work. However speakers won't slide or fall off as such, very stable grip.Great value for money and nice looks. Pictures attached for reference.

Great value sound improvement
Arrived next day via DPD courier (for free!), great service. For the money you can't fault these. I've got mine set up on a hard floor with the rubber feet. The floor in my room seems to curve upwards a little bit next to the wall where the speakers are. With a bit of trial and error positioning the triangular base, and by using the small amount of tightening adjustment on the rubber feet, I was able to get them pretty steady and the spirit level seems happy enough. They aren't 100% rock solid as you can imagine, but totally fine for home use. They would need a fairly significant knock to topple them on the middle height setting (which is at about ear level when sitting down in a desk chair). These have improved the sound of my KRK Rokit 6 monitors no end. I previously had them on my computer desk on Auralex MoPads. Even with MoPads the bass used to get really boomy above a certain volume, and even with the volume low they were only really any good if I was sat right in the sweet spot at the computer. Now bass is tight, even and detailed - they sound much better turned up now. The speakers are at the perfect height for sitting, and If i'm standing up and DJing on my decks in another part of the room i.e not in the sweet spot, the height is much better than when they were on the desk and I can easily swivel one of the speakers to get it sounding great.Overall I'm very pleased with these for the price, recommended.

Speaker stands
Unfortunately my experience with these was/is not a 5 star rating, rather disappointing to be frank. The reason for this is that one of the threaded holes which takes a bolt/foot on one of the stands hasn't been tapped with sufficient care. This has resulted in the bolt/foot not screwing in properly. Had the seller just checked it over before shipping this unfavourable review could have been avoided and he would have had a satisfied/happy customer. Nice product spoiled by lack of basic care and professionalism.

Disappointed
Disappointed that the fact that one of the screws at the top in the pole is shut tight and wont budge! and seem there's glue is making it shut tight will buy some WD-40 Hopefully will be fixed along with one of the bolts that was attached to the cloth material to the pole is also broken..

Impressed
I have these in my studio and in my lounge. Good quality monitor stands at a decent price in a market that charges the earth for this type of product. They are very stable (use the supplied spikes on a carpet), and extremely well built. They come with a small plastic clip that you can use on the safety peg for extra confidence, or to hang onto a cable, which lives in a hole on the side of the post. They make a professional looking addition to the home/project/budget studio environment where spending over £100 on monitor stands is impractical or unrealistic.
