will this work on a zurn 56069-1 wall hydrant? My 7/16 socket works but not my 3/8 socket which is too small

Also, if a 3/8" open end wrench fits the wall hydrant, this key will also fit. The key has a 3/8" square receptacle. In addition, it has a smaller square fitting inside, maybe for 5/16" if you have any of those.

what is the key made of ?

Looks to be like a zinc nickel mix of metal but it works perfect at actually just as well as the $50-$75 key that you have to buy from Zorn

Is the key itself narrow enough to fit inside a 5/8" valve casing? My 3/8" valve lock under my sink is enclosed inside a casing 5/8" wide.

It might work, not too sure about it, because I have knobs underneath my sink, but you can Google it to see if you can get clarification on it.
