So I just received this today, and so far I love it. The only thing is, it is a little heavy.

The star itself is great. Lights are a joke. Removed them and wrapped with tree lights.

This is the perfect addition to our Christmas Tree! The rustic appearance is just what I wanted. It's sturdy, and the lights are bright. Batteries not included so you'll need 2 AA's for this. It has a long cord so it's easy to mount on the highest of trees. It is HEAVY, so you'll need a sturdy tree, or if using as home decor, a sturdy place to hand or sit upon.UPDATE: After just two (2) days the batteries are dead. These were new batteries, so I'm curious if there's something about the wiring that drains batteries quicker than most(?). I'll follow up in a few days!

I wish this tree topper plugged in vs required batteries. I had to change the batteries out twice within one month

I had very high hopes for this. But it is very poorly made.First off, no timer, so you must remember to turn it off or you will run down your batteries.Second it does not set well on top of the tree it's very top heavy you have to be able to pull branches through the spring on the bottom in order to get it to not want to tip forward or back.Third looks very cheaply made when in person and the cord for the battery pack is ridiculously long and requires a lot to get it hidden within the tree. I would say that this tree topper is only worth around $5. If you pay any more than that you more than likely will be disappointed with what you received.Lastly my box was clearly a return it was tore up and taped up and this was not purchased as a discounted return item which I found super annoying to pay full price for something that had clearly been returned. I definitely have the vibe that I could have made this myself with an order of fairy lights with the timer and been just as satisfied if not more.

I really wanted to go with something different compared to the metal or plastic star toppers. I’m so happy I found this. It looks perfect on our tree. I put it up the minute I receive it today! I have small touches of rustic wood in our living room and the star topper adds to it nicely.I was skeptical because of the price, but such a great value and quality!

Though, this star is very untraditional and just the look of it is amazing there are some cons to this… The lighting on the star is very dim, not as bright as the pictures as well as some of the reviews. The stand that holds the star up kept on falling off, I would suggest to company to glue in the stick that goes into the stand. But, lastly, the star is too heavy for the stand itself, another company correction that’s needed to have the star more steady and secure. We just removed the stand and stuck the star on top of the tree as is, it’s staying for the most part. debating on returning but not sure yet.. Just dim, I’ll try using my tree lights to wrap around the star as well to have it shine brighter

I love how this rustic star looks. The small lights are a good combination with it. It is battery operated though so not sure yet how often the batteries will need to be changed. It would probably be better as a plug in. I like the looks of it though.
