I was concerned that the stake might damage the roots, but these are made so that the stake nestles along the edge of the pot, and the loop gently holds up the flower stalks. A must-have for anyone who loves amaryllises....or is it amarylli (?)

So far so good - I plant several paper whites and amaryllis each winter and am always creating contraptions with chopsticks and the like to help support the plants. I decided this was the year to find a better solution- a smaller version would probably be better for the paper whites- my amaryllis have yet to bloom- we will see. Easy to install, shape allows to hold plants gently- my own old contraptions would continue to work, but these are more attractive.

I wish the holder came in several lengths or was more easy to cut down. It took quite an effort to get 3” off because the material is so sturdy,

The coating is holding up well to watering and it’s nice and strong, working well on both a money tree and an amaryllis

Love them! They work great holding my amaryllis leaves up and look good doing it! I used to use string and the green firberglass rods but these look and work SO MUCH better. We are in a new development area with a lot of fields so the wind gets a little outrageous and they have kept my plants from breaking and cracking!

I've had these in dirt for a season and they are working great. Happy with this purchase.
