These TRRS connectors are great devices for those who need to separate Mic from Headphone. As most of you who use this type of device know, the corded(wired) versions always seem to break the connection(get a short) where the main wire goes into the main terminal.With these connectors above, they've greatly protected the splitter and it's one of the best units out there right now. The quality is great. The sound transfer in both mic and headset is great. There's only one small issue and you can take a proactive step to help.....The "Main TRRS" Male head that goes inside the original device, there is a lot of pressure on this mount. What happens is where the metal TRRS male connector's head adjoins to the "Y" plastic protective body, it cannot withstand the pressure based on its current adhesion. If you have some Epoxy E6000 or some Super Glue, I highly advise you immediately force some adhesive into the surrounding housing to help ensure it stays secured.I use my connector for my cell phone. And based on this body shape above, it sometimes takes on quite a bit of pressure. Therefore, it must have a much greater form of adhesion to help ensure it stays in place. Currently the manufacturers are not putting enough emphasis on this one area, but with a little proactive measure on your part, you'll end up with a superior Y Splitter!These really are the best devices out there and it's a simple fix to ensure you get the longest and most durable connector offered on the market today.

After trying unsuccessfully to create a wireless bluetooth hookup from a Zoom laptop to a conference room PA system, I gave up and purchased this inexpensive adapter with a long 4 pole (TRRS headphone) extension cable. When the cable is plugged into a laptop, the input and outputs of the adapter on the other end go to the input and output of the PA system, and Zoom thinks it's wired headphone and mic. Works great!

I had these and just in under 3 weeks they stopped working. The male jack that plugs into your aux started to feel loose and I have to move it in the right direction so I can hear from both sides of my headphones. When I received them the left and right were flipped. I plugged in my mic and headphones with this adapter into my PS4 controller and the sound was switched around meaning I could hear the left on my right and the right on my left. This normally wouldn't bother me if I used this for my phone but since I use it for my PS4 I need to have correct audio direction. To solve this, I have to flip my headphones around and it feel uncomfortable because that is now how the headphones are supposed to be worn. I have the Philips SHP9500 headphones for reference. I just ordered another adapter that is made from a quality brand and hopefully they last longer than 3 weeks. Maybe I just got a bad product.

The EAR and MIC was marked reversed. For long time I considered it doesn't work.

Headphones and microphone work great with this product. Only down side is the male side doesn't feel very solid. Overall I give this product 4 out of 5 stars.
