Who Was Jesse Owens?

I have bought several of these books on different historical figures that I'd like my grand children to know. They are concise and about an 8-10 year old reading level for ease of understanding. IMO, the schools don't focus enough on historical figures and it's up to us to make sure they get extra attention to understand what made our heros so great and how they overcame adversity to excel.

My son loves these books and they are great for school book reports. He dressed up as Jesse Owens and presented. This is one of his favorite series of books and he has read over ten- and he is a non reader!

5stars I did not like dislike anything. It was very good and gives you interesting facts you may or may not know.
