Great Visual and Audio Quality
Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. John 14:6 AMPAnd if anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15 AMP16 God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. Anyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life. 17 God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world. He sent his Son to save the world through him. John 3:16,17 NIRV 18 Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because [b]he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him]. John 3:18 Amplified Bible 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15 Amplified BibleRevelation 20:15 Since everyone who goes before the great white throne is to be tried and sentenced for his deeds, and no one is sinless, the only way to escape condemnation and the “lake of fire” is to have one’s name in the “Book of Life” through authentic faith in Jesus as Lord (see Ps 69:28; Phil 4:3; Rev 3:5). Excellent role model for kids
I love this Batman series! For kids who like super heroes, this is such a great version of Bat Man and Robin. The friendship between Bat Man and Robin is full of devotion and loyalty. Every episode shows honor, decency, gentleness, compassion, and justice. It’s a parent’s gift since I can easily use it to teach good character. From my kids ages 11, 8 and 6–Five stars! I love it!! If you’re looking for a series that will keep you on the edge of your seat and is still appropriate, but full of suspense, this is the series for you! Good music. No swears. Smart crimes, difficult clues, funny villains. We love it!!!

Very Funny Comment on Modern Art
This set contains a very funny comment on modern art, in Episodes 57-58, when the Joker gets into the modern art scene. The artist competition is hilarious, as it shows how the modern artists actually make their so-called "art." Probably not too far from the truth! A huge hit at the time, the series does start to wear a little thin, especially binge-watching on DVD, as the plots are nearly the same in every set of episodes. But, fun while it lasted. Noticeably more wacky than Season One, which probably ended up being the ultimate demise of the show the next season, very much reminds one of what they did to The Man From U.N.C.L.E. to destroy that show after the first (great) season, becoming more and more parody.

I am so glad these shows are still on the market, my type of shows.
Brings me back to my childhood, we watched batman everyday after school, then it was so exciting, now it is so corny to me but I still love it, it's not as dramatic and action packed as shows are today. I have a vhs recording of some batman episodes from TV, when my grandson was younger I showed it to him I knew he wasn't going to like for today kids are into modern shows, well he LOVED IT! He watched each episode I couldn't get his attention, I was shocked, from then one he became a batman fan.

Wonderfully entertaining!
I grew up on this Batman, and I'll gladly take him over the "grim and gritty" incarnations of recent times. This Batman and his rogue's gallery of villains is just plain FUN!

So much fun and nostalgia
I don't know what I can say about this TV show that you don't already know. If you are going to watch it then you know what you are getting into and it is a lot of silliness and with your tongue firmly in your cheek Adam West was a true ham and he had to be and Burt Ward as Robin was my real hero. The various villains were all famous for the time and had a blast....big recommendations.

Second verse, same as the first, sort of.
Batman,Season Two,Part Two has the last remaining eps of that season. The serious/humorous antics of the dynamic duo continue. As I mentioned in my review of Season One,I have not seen these eps since I was a young teenager. Then I saw them in B&W.What a delightful shock to see them in such pristine condition and in colour....holy TV tuner Batman. This was a very smart show.To me as a youngster/hipster I took it more seriously, but what drew me to it was the way in which it was handled,on a light hearted and tongue in cheek level. Now as an adult I get the sly double entendre's even more, and the all the very smart quotes from different literary sources that just went over my head years before.West's straight delivery, with those deliberate vocal hesitations, were spot on.And the veteran cast ably backed West and Ward up in their own comic-serious way.Of course besides the main characters, one immediately thinks of the crooks. This season Julie Newmar is back at Catwoman,Burgess Meredith as The Penguin, and Victor Buono as King Tut(one of my faves).Generating far less in excitement generating were the likes of Eli Wallach as Mr.Freeze(the third incarnation and the best,Tallulah Bankhead as Black Widow,Carolyn Jones as The Queen of Diamonds,Michael Rennie as the Sandman,Maurice Evans as the Puzzler,David Wayne as the Mad Hatter,Cliff Robertson as Shame(a shameless pun on Shane) ,Roger Carmel as Colonel Gumm and finally the biggest disastrous mistake of the entire series, making John Astin(Addams Family fame)as the Riddler,a simply awful move. All big talents in their chosen fields(which shows you what a draw this show was for the acting community at large),but not very good for a show like this.I did notice that Julie Newmar and Victor Buono were really playing their parts up much broader than usual, this season.Of course the Batmobile, the coolest thing on four wheels, is almost a personality all by itself. The show itself as always provides us with stock shots of New York and was shot in and around the L.A.area,including the studio lots. And the guest stars continue to appear on those random walks up buildings. All in all Season Two sails on where the first left off. It's a delight to watch after all these years,as I am able to get the depth to which this show presented itself.Highly recommended.
