Great songs from an amazing group. Disco fever baby!

This 3 CD collection fromVillage People has all of my die-hard favorite tracks, hands down. Every last hit is represented here, with many 7" single edits and album versions present. Gold rescues the five best songs from the much maligned Renaissance album, which sound pretty damn good, actually. The Mega Mixes and other more modern mixes are here, too. You can find broader selections of their 12" singles out there, but no complaints. The sound is wonderful! Pick it up and have some pure fun with Gold by Village People.

The cd had all of the songs I wanted, plus extras I had never heard. The letdown was the variance in quality. I remember hoe clean and punchy all the original albums sounded, and the song that comes closest to the quality I expected overall is "Macho Man" The other hits like "In The Navy" and "YMCA" don't pack the sonic punch in spite of the fact that they were recorded mere months apart or two years at the most.

Those were the days and this was the music!! Even today at parties ( and these are people who lived it ) when Y.M.C.A . Is played everybody gets up to dance !!! I've looked for a long time for this but could only find a smaller version and this is worth the Amazon price !! Disco lives !!

Je suis entièrement satisfais de ce coffret composé de 44 chansons réunies sur 3 CD.Tous leurs hits s’y retrouvent.Sur le deuxième CD il y a quelque Remix tel que : ‘’Y.M.C.A’’ et ‘’Can’t Stop The Music’’ des Remix de 1993.Il y a aussi le Megamix de 1998 : ‘’We Want You’’.Le troisième CD est composé de 12 chansons en différentes version, ainsi que des versions longues.Il y a aussi : ’’Y.M.C.A. ‘’ en version [Millennium Mix].Je suis très heureux de pouvoir ajouter cet album à ma collection.De plus le son est excellent car il a été remasterisé.Cet album est sortir en 2019 sous Demon Music Group Ltd.
