too small for the average vidalia . needs to be 12mm larger diameter.

This product doesn't work as shown. First off it's just a guide used for slicing the onion. Second the onion has to be tiny to fit in the plastic guide. It's much easier to slice by hand. The corner is completely useless, it has a very rounded edge where it should have been thin 8r sharpened, you can't push the corner into the onion a fraction of an inch. It just mushes the onion. I threw it in the trash can, which by the way probably would have worked better than this. Don't waste your money. Very dissatisfied.

Well, just got today, way earlier than I expect, which is good. Haven’t had time to experiment and give a true evaluation, but it sure would be nice to receive a decent set of instructions instead of the little 2x4 piece of paper provided. A video would have been REAL helpful, as easy as it looks. Many things from Amazon come without proper instructions….WHY? No clue how I work the corer yet since I didn’t get good details. No video on Amazon either. I’m browsing the Internet now trying to find something. I’ll come back when I figure it all out and actually use it. BTW, a first,… it came in a brown bag and not a box 10 times the size of the product.
