ordered 2 of these for gifts...one is yellow and black around the edges...the other one is black and rotten ....and yes I DID open them within seconds of getting them so disappointed

These were a fun choice for a Mother’s Day gift this year. I also received two of my own. The only “work” that they require- you need to pay attention to the direction the flower is leaning. I rotated mine in the window every few days and when it bloomed (less than 2 weeks) it was straight up and beautiful. I would (and will) definitely buy again. I like these most because they are different from your regular bouquet of flowers but also, they last longer and you don’t have to do anything but let them grow and bloom.

Amending my review:In less than one hour of calling and request via Amazon.com, The company called me back, apologized and is resending the three that were white for red ones absolutely free.Lesson learned: I should speak with vendor before whining in public!I bought four: three as gifts and one for myself. While the flower is good quality, three out of the four were white when they were described to be red. Of course the only way to find out is well over a month after purchase when the bloom (and too late to return or refund).

I like this company and their wax bulbs, however showing a picture with two stems and receiving the bulbs, which I gave her a lot of gifts with only one stem. I was very disappointed less flowers I feel like I was ripped off the flowers are beautiful, but you shouldn’t put a picture that has two stamps, and then you deliver a bulb with only one stone.

Mother's Day was important to me. From previous experiences with these wax covered bulbs thought it would fun to introduce to family. Out of 5 purchased, 4 were good. 1 with 4 blooms, 1 w/ 3 blooms, 1 w/ 2 stalks.Overall I'm satisfied. No water, no sun how can you get wrong, no Brainerd.

Great gift with a special surprise bloom. My bloom died and then I had three more blooms, then they died and I have one now. What a wonderful lasting gift.
