AMEYN & HALLELUJAH!!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for researching and writing this amazing little book that is so powerful and meaningful!! I found this book through Gregg Braden‘s Wisdom Codes, and while listening to the audio book, I first heard Gregg speaking the original Lords Prayer in Aramaic, I started crying. It is the truth of Jesus’ teachings that I have always felt deep within my soul. I have always shied away from religion because of its dogmatic approach based on separatism, sin and guilt. I never believed this is what Jesus intended. I am deeply spiritual and this book ignites my spirit, and the universal truths that connect us all in Oneness, Light, and Love. Prayers of the Cosmos is deep and profound, yet short and simple. It also inmcides with body prayers after each in-depth translation of each verse that assist in connecting your whole self to these ancient teachings. Aramaic is the language of many meanings, and I can relate to it because Hawaiian language carries the same depth. I cannot thank you enough for bringing this into our modern world, especially at a time where so many of us are seeking deeper meaning, and spiritual connection. I believe we are ready for this reawakening of our true power and connection to the Divine! Thank you again Neil Douglas-Klotz. This book has changed my life. Mahalo nui loa.

Jesus' Words
I found this book interesting in that it provided me with a new and different perspective of jesus' words and sayings. One slightly different from what I was taught.

Worth reading!
Very interesting reading. It makes a lot of sense to read the scripture as it was intended, not watered down and/or changed into something different. There are exercises to try so one can connect with the divine. It's a book I will refer back to often in the future. If you're seeking a deeper understanding of prayer and scripture, this is worth reading.

I regularly gift this to other spiritual seekers
This is an essential addition to any spiritual seeker from any tradition. The author provides sublime context for applying the most important words of Jesus into a modern spiritual life, in a contemplative and personal way. Throughout the book the author suggests, "Here is what Jesus may have been thinking of or considering as he used this Aramaic phrase" which means that he does not directly translate the Aramaic to English. Instead, he offers the reader to ponder the meanings of the Aramaic for themselves, and resolve within themselves how it could help them along their own, personal path. --- I've gifted this book to many friends after having discussions about their spiritual path. Somehow, the Aramaic words of Jesus seem to apply so universally, and so delicately and intimately, that each person I've gifted it to has said they regularly refer to it.

this touches hearts
I'm a cult survivor and recently been searching for meaning and researching religion and human history. I've never been fond of religions like Christianity because of the black and white thinking being so popular but seeing how much Jesus' words and persona have been changed over time is mind boggling to me. no wonder dualistic thinking is widespread.i use this book in my own meditation sessions and read it for comfort and understanding.Jesus was just another scholar just trying to tell people to be kind to each other and ourselves. i love the earth-centered language in this book so very much

An excellent book on prayer.
With "Prayers of the Cosmos: Meditations on the Aramaic Words of Jesus," Neil Douglas-Klotz manages to both pay deep respect to and transcend Christianity, making the "Lord's Prayer" accessible, and quite possibly more understandable, to people of all faiths, traditions, and religions.Along the way, he provides unique, and often surprising, insights into faith, prayer practice, and the differences in interpretation and translation found between the current-day Christianity practiced all over the world - this includes Orthodox Christianity, Catholicism, and every other denomination - and Jesus himself, along with his earliest followers, all of whom more than likely spoke Aramaic.Truthful (in the strongest and highest sense of the word), illuminating, and expansive, "Prayers of the Cosmos" speaks to all faiths, spiritual paths, and, frankly, to our current times; providing a solid framework upon which we can all begin to imagine a better life and way of being, inwardly as much as outwardly.

What Jesus (Yahshua) Really Meant!
If you really want to know what following Jesus means, you have to read this book! It's been a long journey from the original Aramaic to today's many interpretations of the Bible!
