Great game that requires active thinking and strategy.
I love this game as it's very strategic. There are no dice or cards to draw, so it is not a game of chance. It is closer to chess than other board games. My son loves the fact that it's a challenge and he makes all the choices. I started beating him easily. But now our games can last quite a while as we're both trying to out think the other.

My boys love this game
My 15 year old taught my 6 year old how to play in about 5 minutes and they both said they liked that they got for Christmas... my husband enjoyed playing too. Fun for the whole family!

Super strategic!
This is a really fun alternative to chess, very strategic, and engaging. It's not hard to learn but is still challenging. A very fun game for bright children but adults will love it too!

Rock, Paper, Scissors Meets Chess
I bought this game for my 9 year old twin grandsons. They recently learned chess and I thought this would be a fun spin on the game. Each player has 5 rock pieces, 5 paper pieces and 5 scissor pieces. Each type of piece can move a certain way (paper is like a rook in chess, scissors are like bishops, rock is like a King but can move up to 3 spaces per turn). Paper can only capture rock, rock can only capture scissors and scissors can only capture paper. The last person to have at least one of each piece still on the board wins. The strategy comes in figuring out which piece can move where while keeping in mind what it can capture and being wary of what can capture it. The game can be played with 2, 3 or 4 players. We all loved the game and found it to be a really great brain exercise. I think it helps to have a little familiarity with chess because it reinforces the concept of certain pieces making certain moves. I very strongly recommend this fantastic game!!

Fun game!
I wasn't sure what to expect on this one. It's fun and once you learn the rules of movement it's very strategic. The cool thing was that you didn't know who was going to win. You could appear to be ahead, then the tables turn quickly. We played with a 5 year old and while she didn't understand the strategy, she still had fun moving pieces. It's a great family game!

Concentration necessary
This game was a hit with my 11-year-old granddaughter. She played it with each of her parents, and it took a lot of concentration to keep track of the rules and the pieces. The markers are rubbery and not as flimsy as they look like on the box. It was a winner!!

Fun and gets you ready for chess
This game is a lot of fun for us and our 11 year old sons. It’s a good early strategy game for them, and a perfect way to get them ready for chess.
