I found it was so high that I couldn't close my mouth. I wanted to wear it at night so I wouldn't grind my teeth or bite my tongue or lips. But my jaw hurt and it was so uncomfortable that I returned it for credit. It molds to the top and bottom teeth and has a breathing space in between so that you can exhale as you bite hard when you need to clamp your jaw to get out that extra push.
