Easy and fun to use
It does what it says it will do. Just draw and hear! Easy to use. You can make it light or dark depending how much heat you use. Worked great on my wood Christmas ornaments. Great price

Useful, but learn from my mistake
I prefer to wood burn with a electric wood burning pen but I wanted to try a scorch pen just to see what they are like. I used it with a stencil but I must have pumped the pen too many times because I had an abundance of liquid that just went all over the wood. I sanded the area and tried again, but I had same issue and I had to sand once again but by the third attempt and drying out the pen a bit with a paper towel, I was able to get a better end result with nice clear lines. And it only took a little heat with a blow dryer to get the image to appear. So while I still prefer a heated wood burning pen I think a scorch own could come in handy for certain projects. Just be careful not to pump it too many times or else you will probably have the same issues I did.

Don't buy if you want a wood burn look.
Ok so nothing against the company but this marker is junk it's a good idea in theory but in reality it's a no go. The marker bleeds alot and honestly looks nothing like it's wood burned. It honestly looks just like you took a black sharpie and drew on wood except this marker bleeds more then a sharpie see my attached picture well the part that is all runny that says the crafty waitress that was done with this pen, my name underneath (ashley) was done with a black sharpie there is almost no difference save your time and money and just either use a black sharpie or if you want a wood burning then get a wood burner because this is not that!!!

Dont waste ur money!
This is junk. It does write on wood, and when u burn it, the marker color turns black. But thats it. Its a waste of money! It doesn't engrave at all. Not even a tiny indent. U literally jusy write on wood with a black marker.... it would be cheaper. It even smudges like a cheap marker....

They run images don't turn out good
I got because my grandson likes to help when in the shop and is too young to use my wood burner. It's easy to use for him but when you put heat to it it shows were it ran and the image doesn't turn out good. So I tried it and took my time and made sure the tip wasn't wet and when put heat to it same thing happened it runs and the image doesn't look good.
