I Love You All Day Long

Adorable book for my 3year old
Adorable book. My daughter is 3 and she started saying this to me "mommy I love you all day long" when I would pick her up from school.. and one day I just entered those words in the Amazon search & sure enough this book popped up. I had never even heard anyone say that before except my little girl. So of course I looked at the reviews which were great & ordered it. Tonight she wanted me to read it over & over again. She loves it. Sweet message. Bright colors. Perfect for her age. Simple. Would buy again. I'm so glad I found it

Wonderful!
Great aid for bedtime separation anxiety as well (I modify text to read, "I love you all the time...all day and all night"; "I love you when you're awake and I love you when you're asleep"; "I also love you when....") Honestly, unless it was a huge coincidence, this book helped stop separation anxiety in its tracks for daycare dropoff and nap/bedtime.

Made a perfect baby shower gift!
Bought for a dear friends daughter who, when she was little she was my "helper" and now she's expecting her own baby. You can never go wrong with a book!

my favorite book, well one of them :)
Love this book, I remember reading it to my children. I have also gifted it to many mothers at their baby showers. Just a beautiful book.

Amazing book!
This is such a great book. My 4 year old has struggled with separation anxiety this year, especially leaving him at school. He adores this book! He has it memorized. This morning when we arrived at preschool he became upset but then recited the book and saying goodbye was much easier!

Great little story
My kids love this book and it has a good storyline. I do regret not buying hardcover though. My kids are 2 & 3 and even taking it on and off our bookshelf has caused some wear and tear to the cover.

Great book for kids transitioning to school!
Bought this book when my daughter started having a hard time with school dropoff in the morning. The story is a sweet reminder that just being apart from each other doesn't mean that our love stops! The pictures are adorable - I love to see the sub story of Owen's stuffed frog throughout the book. The pictures also give great opportunities to talk beyond the words of the story about issues little ones worry about throughout the day. We read it just for fun now, and there are so many quotes from the book that are part of our family's every day vocabulary - from marching "to a clang clickety clang", to reminding each other that "I love you when I'm with you and I love you when we're apart". All in all a great book, highly recommend.

Eh...it's OK
I liked the message of this book, but I'm not thrilled with the actual execution. I got this for my 3.5 year old. It backfired a bit because she asked questions about being "together" vs. "apart" and is now commenting all the time about when we're "apart." I think it's super weird that the pictures are of pigs. Not sure why this bothers me as we have lots of animal-characters in other books, but it doesn't fit well with this story. There's no reason for them to be pigs! Several negative things happen at school to the pig, too, which I didn't love and which my daughter immediately noticed and asked questions about(someone takes his toy, he spills juice on his crackers and the other pig scowls at him), and I found myself paraphrasing parts (i.e. "I love you when you climb too high"--my daughter is already cautious and I don't want her to get the idea that she shouldn't climb up the slide ladder!). My daughter seems to like it and the overall message is great, but I think The Kissing Hand does a better job with a similar story. I also got The Invisible String, but we haven't read that one yet.

Excellent for anyone with chidren suffering seperation anxiety.
This book has been a god send. It's a simple but perfect story showing whether you're with your loved one or apart you still love them all day long. My daughter was never a fan of preschool and her seperation anxiety became even worse when she started school. We tried books about kissing hands which did not impress her one bit but this book did. We read it regularly and along with some ther strategies we found in a No Cry Seperation Anxiety book she now goes to school happily and enjoys it too.

Wonderfuk
My daughter (22 months) loves this book. We've been reading it in preparation for starting nursery and she is almost word perfect. She adores the illustrations and the rhythm. Cute the whole way through, well worth getting.

Beautiful book for starting nursery
Used this for when my little one was starting nursery. Now it’s the thing we say every night...love you all day long. Lovely story. Recommended by my sister who has worked with children for over 20years
