Starts really easy and easy to connect
Works brilliantly starts no problem although a little on the heavy side but then I guess it helps to have a bit of weight when using the chainsaw adaption at hieght

Absolute rubbish from a big name Company
Had this just over a year and now it won't start. It's only been used 3 times and Hyundai after sales support is dreadful. I've now been without the machine for over a month in the height of summer when it's most needed. Hyundai took 3 weeks to send out the part they thought was faulty but after fitting the new part the machine will still not start. I now have to drain it and box it up with ALL accessories to be sent back to Hyundai for repair with the threat of " -if the assessment confirms that the fault is due to user-error or lack of maintenance, or there is no fault found with the machine, then the repair will not be covered under warranty and charges will apply". DO NOT BUY HYUNDAI PRODUCTS

A lot for your money
I've only used the strimmer attachment so far, but its easy to put together, easy to use. The harness is really handy too. All the parts fit correctly. It came later than I wanted, but within the time frame they gave me, so no complaints. It's a lot of kit for your money and I've only given it 4 stars as I've only used 1 attachment for a few hours so it's a bit early to tell if it's worth it or not, but I am looking forward to finding out.

Noisy, cheap, and unreliable.
Have had this multi-trimmer for three months and have used three or four times since purchase (each for a few hours).Although not a quality issue per se, the noise is horrendous on this trimmer. I use earphones and live without close neighbours but I nonetheless feel like I must drive them up the wall when using it. However, I wouldn't rate down just for noise. The quality of this trimmer is low; I mean very low. Parts are cheap and the engine doesn't run well. When I compare this to other two stroke engines I own (say, a chainsaw) this Hyundai motor is unreliable. I always make sure the tank is empty of fuel when not used, but nonetheless it is without fail difficult to start. Further, after only three months the motor is now cutting out at maximum revs (I assume dirty carb but this shouldn't happen when not left with a full tank for extended periods). The harness system is designed by a sadist. I couldn't come up with a less convenient system if I tried. To top it all off, the cheap plastic toggle for the engine choke has just snapped off mine when I went to pull it out, rendering the whole thing unusable. Chainsaw casing has also cracked (when only used for minor pruning). All in all, not worth the money and I'd recommend finding an alternative.

Hyundai quality
I bought this for the extra reach and lighter weight (than my stand-alone hedge trimmers and chainsaw) for higher off the ground pruning, as well as brush cutting which I have not used before. This tool is a very good product for the price with a solid build quality worthy of the Hyundai name. Quite a powerful tool for the lighter jobs; it will not cope with the heavier trees and shrubs. It is however a 4 in 1 ‘tool’ as you can do nothing with the extension pole, without using another tool. A minor quibble though. As others have mentioned the instructions that come with it, and the videos on line, do not reflect the unit I received and took some deciphering in order to complete assembly. Take your time though and it will be fine; don’t try and force anything as it is not needed.I have been using the range of attachments for 2 weeks now and have never had any issues except with the harness which is not to the quality of the mechanical parts. I have stopped using it now as it seems to be more of a hindrance than assistance. I use Aspen ready mixed fuel and the unit has started without trouble every time it was required.Overall, a quality product for the price, not difficult to assemble and it performs each of the 4 roles it is designed for very effectively. I am well pleased with the purchase.

Value of money and powerful
Was slightly reluctant to order this due to some poor reviews, but needed it quickly to strim very long grass/brush, cut tree branches and trim hedging. Here is my experience with Hyundai 5 in 1. For the money this works very well. Easy to assemble and very powerful. Strimmer gets through the grass/brush with ease and quickly, auto feed for line works flawlessly and the line is easily changed. Chainsaw and hedge trimmer heads also work very well. Starts easily and was found to be very reliable through use so far.Are there any down sides:1. I would have to say the harness is a bit fidly to use but it does work as intended, I will probably get another harness for it.2. Machine is quite heavy when in use, but I think a better harness would help this alot. Any petrol power hand held machine is expected to have some weight so not unexpected. All in all, sticking with 5 stars as the performance of the machine is exeptional good for the money.

Avoid it like the plague
Initially I was quite impressed with the build quality but after 3 uses in 4 days of receiving it, it wouldn't start. I traced the fault to the kill switch wiring hanging loose because when moved, it would start. I decided that although I could fix it, why should I so contacted Amazon for a return /refund. 36 hours later I received an email from Hyundai asking me to send photos of it not working and of the fault I described. The email made it perfectly clear that in order to return a poor quality item I would have to jump through hoops. The final straw was that although the packaging was well ripped when I got it, I was expected to keep it. In my opinion I bought the contents and the box was free to dispose of.I decided to repair the wiring myself and told Hyundai I had done so. They replied a couple of days later apologising and promising me compensation. That was over a week ago and I realise it will never happen. They said it to prevent me giving an honest review.
