40X Full Metal Illuminated Jewelers Magnifier,Best Pocket Folding Magnifying Glass Jewelers Lens Eye Loupe with LED Light(LED Currency Detecting/Jewelry Identifying Type)

I was not expecting I had to be so darn close to an object with this. I guess it will work (haven't used in the field yet). Seems well built - built to last though, but for me I don't think I will be taking it out - Ill have to get something else. I use Bi-Focals and this is just not going to work for me. For someone with better vision it should be just fine. For me, I just don't like I have to be that close to an object just to magnify it so that I can see it. If it works for ya it is a good value for the money. If you have vision issues you might want to move on to something else. The light is there and a single LED, so don't expect to light-up Broadway. It is probably good for being right on top of the rock or whatever you're looking at. Back a tad and well not so much. That is just my opinion.

I use this mostly to check for counterfeit MTG cards and it works well for that. The egg shaped plastic case is kind of weird but the item itself is sturdy, heavy, solid and feels well built. Magnification works well and visuals are clear.

Great light, with options, on this loupe. I’ve used it to see several small bits I couldn’t see well with the naked eye. It brings out detail that is uncle without magnification and light combined. It’s not tiny and not too large to hold in your hand. This was a gift and I like it.

The batteries last good while

This works great and seems pretty well made. I already had a 60x-120x pocket microscope but the focal distance is much better with the jewelers loupe making it much easier to use. The regular led lights work well even with good lighting and the UV light works but I have no use for it personally.

Helps us reptile owners identify if the reptile is male or female,this is really good and convenient to carry if going to a reptile show and want to check for yourself the sex of a reptile you are getting.

Bought this to solder a tiny chip onto a board, it magnifies pretty good, but the really but downside to it is the light. The light will start to get dimmer and dimmer after being on for longer then a minute. Also the case is comes in is the worst plastic I have ever seen

This is really good value for money, crystal clear eyepiece/ loupe. Lights work well. Only thing to watch out for is the screws in the hinge can work loose after a bit of use

The old eye sight ain’t what it used to be and this works a treat love the light in it

A bit bigger than expected but decent quality for the price

Not sure what to expect but the jewellers magnifier is excellent for sorting out jewellery markings, stamp details and any tiny markings. Supplied complete and ready to use. Just the job!
