Excellent resource for delving into your dreams
I thoroughly enjoyed Linda Schiller's comforting and comfortable voice, exlploring the broad dimensions of dreaming. During the covid19 virus it's great to turn to this book for help in understanding the responses from the dream world. It helps that Linda is a very good writer, making this read fun and easy. It's one of those books to keep on the shelf as a resource over the long term of a dreaming life.

Warm and Wise
In a completely accessible book, which is full of warmth and wisdom, Linda Schiller invites the reader back to their dreams. For the lay reader, there are tips and strategies to use the wisdom of your dreams on your own or with others. For the clinician, there is an abundance of scholarly (yet still accessible) work providing techniques to use now and avenues for greater research if one wishes.

Understand your inner wisdom
I love the how-to aspect of Dream Work. i have never remembered my dreams and I have begun to "incubate" my dreams, learning how to bring them to conscious awareness. The book is also filled with all kinds of information about dreams themselves, fairy tales, stories from other cultures that inform the reader about themes, symbols and images that are universal. I encourage everyone to buy it. It's fun!!

Troubled by nightmares? Look no further than this book!
When I found this book, I was experiencing dreams so vivid that I couldn't forget them all day long. I've had recurring dreams all my life and sometimes nightmares."Modern Dreamwork" has shown me how to finally decode the messages my mind wants to send me. Linda Yael Schiller goes into the history of dream interpretation, explains the role of mythology and symbolism, and provides techniques for remembering, recording and analysing dreams. Some of the methods are of her own devising. It was exciting to read about these creations. There are special sections on the GAIA method for soothing and transforming nightmares. She takes a circumspect approach here, noting how to avoid retraumatizing those with PTSD. Sufferers and therapists need have nothing to fear if they follow the advice.I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to understand their dreams, perhaps in order to leverage their power to heal and guide, inspire and tantalize. The book is packed with information about the history and purposes of dreams and their interpretation. Schiller references many seminal authors' work so that this book could be of value to professionals as well as to a general audience. When we dream, it's as if we go through a portal into another world - a highly personal one, though some of its components may have universal meaning. I recommend letting Schiller guide you in bringing the gifts from that world into this one.A link to my write-up of this book on Medium will be added when ready.
