Interesting addition
Grandson likes the road dropping down. Had to do some maneuvering to fit it in our village.

Bridge
I purchased this as a gift for a little boy. I like the way the bridge has an additional function. It can be a two level track, or by moving the lever, part of the upper track becomes a ramp. The little boy really likes it.

Great wooden trainset accessory
Grandson loved it. The top level easily drops down to the lower level by turning the the stop arm. needs additional straight track on the top with supports to allow clearance on the lower track,in

Such a great idea, but not built very smart.
We bought two of these. And they are pretty great, but there's some terrible design decisions they made.First of all, the crossing gate is what lets the bridge drop down. But you *open* the gate to drop it down, and *close* the gate to hold the bridge up - when you'd actually want it to be open. Not only does this make it really weird to use, it's just hard for the brain to figure out how to put the bridge in place since it's operating exactly the opposite of how it should. Also, less obvious until you start playing with it. It only has one male connector for all the bridges, and that's on the top *exit*. All the rest are female connectors, which means they are all the same. So the only way you can setup a track to use all the entry/exit points is by using 'Y' connectors to feed all the connectors that are same (female in this case) to the single male connector. So what does this mean in practice? It means that pretty much whatever way you send the train down the tracks, it ends up looping back and coming in the exit. where it's not able to go down the ramp. This thing would be amazing if it had these simple kinks worked out. Also note that some motorized trains will get stuck in the gaps that are necessarily there to allow the bridge to hinge up and down.

Great bridge!!!
The picture is exactly the real deal. My son loves this bridge. He can lower & raise the arm and bridge just like a real one. The bridge has a locking mechanism in the arm for raising and lower it. It's a sturdy accessory and a must have.
