Went on nice. The screws don’t come preinscalled into the cap and I found them to be inferior than the old cap as the washers are separate. I decided to stick with the old screws but I’m sure both options are fine. The leads fit really firm with the Sierra leads so I was happy with that. I’ll update if this gives me any issues during the next 12 months.

A few years ago I had trouble with my V8 and an experienced mechanic pointed out some extremely small marks around my distributor cap where there was arcing between the gaps. I replaced the cap with this Sierra model as well as the rotor. The cap was an exact fit and the ignition problems disappeared immediately. Make sure you keep track of your plug wires as you swap out the cap. It is an easy replacement and it has become a part of my annual maintenance.

This cap has the Brass contacts I need for a marine application to eliminate the corrosion I was getting on the standard automotive cap. This cap meets the spec and fits perfectly.
