Eagle Pack Natural Pet Food, Power Adult Formula For Dogs, 40 Lb Bag

I have a 2 year old Alaska Husky that I spent at least 50 miles a week on the trail with bike/skijoring. I went through a few different feeds trying to find a balance of cost, ingredients, taste, and performance output. The Eaglepack Power Adult is a great value in the 40lb bag, keeps his coat glossy, offers tons of good kcals to burn, and provides great digestion. I like to water his food down a bit, this soaks it up, but doesn't get too mushy.All around would recommend for a high output pup!Also, he is 60lbs, and eats 4 cup a day, one bag lasts about 3 weeks.

My Siberian huskies are super sensitive to food. One will vomit if the food doesn't agree with her, the other gets blood-tinged mucousy stool & vomit. No good, it's been a battle trying to find something that works for them. Finally tried Eagle Pack and their problems went away. My boy is also a really picky eater and he loves it. I think this particular bag has grain in it, which they say not to feed your dog.. But mine do great on this. I've tried all of the 'grain free' kibble and they barf it up. So, I don't know what it is about my dogs or this food.. but they are a compatible couple!

Fantastic formula for active dogs or "hard keepers". Yes it has corn. Believe it or not there are some dogs who not only do fine with a diet that includes corn, but even thrive. Corn is heavy in linoleic acid, and some of the working breeds especially seem to need some extra help there.This product uses good quality meat sources. I've used Eagle brand for three generations of working dogs - this is a classy producer of great foods for dogs. They really care about your pets - no hype just awesome foods and fantastic customer service. There are definitely better kibbles if you want to pay for them - and some dogs do far better on those. I've had dogs like that myself.The Power formula is very dense in calories, one of the most calorie-intense dry foods that is readily available. I use this for one working herding dog I have who is a "hard keeper", and my young livestock guardian dog, who patrols 20 acres of mostly dense woods, for hours each day, to keep our chickens and sheep safe. I strongly recommend feeding this product in multiple meals, or allowing free access to it via self feeder so your dog can "graze".I have my other working dogs on Eagle's regular formula (the pork-based product) - they do fine on that - it's pretty rare that you will require a special food like this Power formula. But if you do, this is the best one out there, in my opinion.

i have used eagle pack for many years,my dogs thrive on it and i have never heard of any recalls from this manufacturer..it comes in many varieties and kibble size...very nutricious and at a great price point.if you are looking for a natural kibble i would highly recommend you try the eagle pack brand

My dogs--an elderly pug, a lab mix, and a Newfie--love this food. It's a four-star rated premium food, but my dogs don't know that. I've found in the past that they turned their noses up at other premium foods, evidently because the higher end foods don't have a lot of the nasty fillers that make the foods more palatable. The folks who make Eagle Pack must have found a way to make healthy ingredients taste yummy to dogs, because even the Newfie loves it, and he's the fussy one of the crew.

My dogs coat and health are wonderful on this diet. She is a Weimaraner and has a great deal of energy and drive. This food keeps her satisfied and healthy!

My dogs love this food and their coats have become softer and shiner since I switched. Have three dogs it's nice to find a dog food that delivers but it not overpriced.
