Top RaceMetal Diecast Construction Set of 2 Heavy Metal Fork Lift and Road Roller with Heavy Rubber Tires 1:50 Scale TR-162

I gifted these to my son and he enjoys them. They're a larger scale than Hot Wheels but the proportions are just about right. A typical car next to one of these is about the right scale. They are made of metal but do feature plastic detail pieces and rubber tires. You can put these out for display as they are better detailed than I expected. I'd say that the build quality is comparable to the little 1/64 scale Ertl tractors I had as a kid. You over-use anything and it'll break but if your kids are reasonable with their toys then these will hold up fine.

My boy will be 4 on December 24th. A week ago one of the forks on his current forklift broke. He was beside himself. He can’t lift his pallets or bales of hay. I fix a lot of his destructed stuff so naturally he asked me to fix it. I could but structurally wouldn’t be the same. I told him that maybe we should find one that’s metal. He agreed. I bought these. They are amazing. Of course my wife questioned why I would pay so much for 2 toys. I reminded her that she has no fewer than 12 pairs of shoes she doesn’t wear from amazon sitting in the closest. He’ll get more usage out of these toys in 1 day than she will of anything she owns. I believe you get what you pay for. That’s the truth with these toys. Even the box is amazing. I don’t want to throw it away. The hard part is do I give these to him now or actually wait for Christmas. She probably doesn’t want me to give these to him now but don’t really care. He needs these ASAP. If you want quality these are the way to go. Haven’t looked yet but if they have more of these type of vehicles I’ll for sure be buying more.

We bought it for my nieces little 5 yr. old boy. They were a little smaller than i expected. They are heavy and well built. The size makes it easier to manuever. Great gift

I think it's amazing how much detail they can put into these little construction toys like. I said it'll look good when my train set. Whoever designed these did a great job.

Rubber tracks come off easily but used in sand box the are rugged and sturdy and my son loves them!!

My grandson plays with them in the sandbox and loves them!

Metal, metal, metal. All the yellow is metal except some small linkage pieces on the excavator. Most of the black pieces are Plastic except for the Buckets on the Loader and the Excavator. The dump doesn't lift very high but enough. The wheels are functional as are the treads, though they may take a while to stretch a bit I can move them with my hand but they don't role and I don't want to put too much pressure on them. I would have liked them Licensed by CAT or Komatsu or some other but I am sure that would have added to the price. Compare to Working Rigs MBX Grader, I prefer these. They will have a space on my shelf for a long time.

The quality is quite low. It might be usable for a display model but its not usable as a children's toy. If one wheel steers the other stays in place so you could pose it but it's not very usable to play with. Overal not great.
