Thirty-Day Devotions for the Holy Souls

When I was introduced to this book, I never realized the journey I would be taking in praying for the holy souls. Susan gives us a "window" to see why we need to pray daily for the departed ones and she impresses on our minds how important it is to remember them. This Daily Devotional will be started over and over again in the hopes that many are released to attain their heavenly place. What a beautiful way to help our departed family, friends and souls who have no one to pray for them......it has been a blessing for me to do this for them.

I love this book...have had a few of them..and I like to give to friends that Lose a loved one....it really is a nice gift togive to friends who are grieving the loss of a Loved one......Prayers are short and simple but so spiritual....

The Church teaches that the souls who are released from purgatory will intercede for us and help us. I am always looking for new methods of prayer so that I do not get bored and this one is excellent. It contains short prayers and meditations for each day and you are to weave the theme for that day into your daily life if possible. Small enough to tuck in your pocket or your purse, I highly recommend this book. Contains memorial prayers and the Heroic Act.

I received some consolation while reading this book. While reading I felt a closer connection to my loved ones that have passed and also I now pray and focus more on many family and friends that have passed and who could use additional prayers and that one push to enter the gates of heaven.

This is the perfect little book to use in spending some time praying for the Holy Souls. I remembered this book recently, when I had a need for more information on Purgatory, and how to help the souls there. It's been a good purchase, and it's small size allows you to take it with you, for on the go reading. If you're Catholic and need to brush up on your knowledge, this is a good book to help.

A Very Helpful Prayer BookI recommend this prayer book for anyone who has a devotion of prayer to the Holy Souls. It is very easy to follow and has lovely prayers and meditations for each day. I have bought a few of these to give to family members who themselves have commented on how good this prayer book is, and how it allows us to pray for the Holy Souls on a daily basis.

This book is an absolute treasure. There are a few thoughts for each day as to how we can pray for souls, and also how to lead better lives ourselves. I am using it everyday, and when I finish I will go back to the beginning and start again. This is an all year round book and not just for the traditional month of praying for the Holy Souls in November.

This book is excellent, concise and easy to pray, it will be especially exciting in November when I can direct all my other prayer books to the Holy Souls in total, I love this book.
