Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Canon EF-M with Altura Photo Essential Accessory and Travel Bundle

The Sigma lens I received today has damage on the inside of the front glass element (small scratch). I thought at first that it was just a smudge on the surface of the glass, but it wasn’t. I contacted the seller (DIGITAL GOJA) and still waiting for their response. I’m just a hobbyist and not a professional that makes money out of this camera. It’s just not right for them to send me a defective product for my hard earned money.Update: I finally got my replacement lens today (Jan 3, 2021). It is in pristine condition, the glasses both front and back are flawless and immaculate. I installed and tried it on my Canon M50, it worked like a charm not to mention that it looks so gorgeous. I couldn’t be more happier. Thanks to Leopold from Amazon Support for walking me thru the return process ( my first time returning a product on Amazon). Thanks also to Digital Goja for the excellent customer service. Kudos to you guys for a job well done.

This is truly an excellent lens for the Canon m50. It lacks internal stabilization but the camera more than makes up for it. A good tripod doesn't hurt either!As far as the rest of the kit the included foldable backpack with inflatable air cushions it's kind of a unique idea. There's not much rigidity in the backpack since it's completely limp without the airbag inserted but it works great for me to have my camera in the bottom and my drone in the upper half if I'm just going out and want to travel light. The little handheld tripod is really handy and the lens cleaning kit is excellent with a very nice case. These little added features make this an excellent buy considering the lens alone is $400 some places. Don't hesitate to buy.

Great depth of field. Take amazing shots. I’m not pro at all but I like this lens a lot. It is heavy but for me that is not an issue. There is no zooming in or out. Which I didn’t really although looking back I should have realized that. But that’s ok. It takes great videos too. I don’t make as many videos as I do take photos but this lens is great for both.

Update:Seller reached out and shipped the missing items. Lens is great overall and works especially well for talking-head / livestreaming with.First of all, lens arrived in new condition. The lens is awesome of course, and more in depth reviews of it can be found by other reviewers.My only problem was with the order itself. Missing all the bundled items, and the only way to get them was to return the lens. Seeing as how the lens is pretty much the same price without the bundle, I opted to just keep the lens. Would be great if the other items could be sent without the return of the perfectly fine lens. Other than that, as advertised.

This is a game changer for vlogging. I have an M50 Mark 2. I am planning on starting my own podcast, and for the video part, I needed to figure out how to best create captivating video. I'm currently waiting on a ring light to finish my setup and then I will probably update my review. But I'm really happy with the lens and the packing quality. I received all items and everything was neatly packaged. One thing though: I repurposed the cleaning and tripod items case into a case for my audio equipment (mixer and cables), and it works swimmingly well.

I've been using the Canon m50 as my primary camera for awhile and was looking at saving for a full frame camera and lens for the lower aperture and low light capability. Saw the reviews on Youtube for this lens, and decided to give it a go before buying into a whole new system. I've got to say I'm crazy impressed. The 16mm focal length is perfect for an APSC camera and the 1.4 aperture has allowed us to film in almost pitch darkness and still recover some detail in post processing. Absolute must have for a cheap camera/lens combo for film making.Only thing I'd say is a downside is the lack of lens stabilization. You're counting on the digital stabilization of the camera and post processing, unless you're shooting from a tripod or using a gimbal to balance the camera. Other than that absolutely fantastic lens for this price range. I feel like we got away with a robbery here!

Love the lens. The bundled items—- not so much.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the Sigma Trio lenses for my M50 after watching many comparison videos. I finally decided on the Sigma lens over the Canon native lenses. I have not shot with this 16mm yet, but I love the sharpness and Bokeh quality from the 30mm & 56mm lenses. I am getting into photography as a hobby not to make money. I hope I will be exploring the quality of this 16mm soon.
