Just the book I needed.

This book was in excellent condition.

The book arrived on time and everything. But it smells sooooo bad. I grimace every single time I open it (haven't found a solution to it yet). If not for the smell, I'd given a 5.

Excellent service.

It's not perfect, but what is? I teach with this book, and I just had a student come back from college and ask to borrow it to help her with a class. I do supplement with articles, College Board resources, and labs etc, but that is what any good teacher would do with any book. I have a diverse group of students, and some of them do have lower reading levels. However, using this book one of those students scored a 4 on the AP test. 100% of my students passed last year using this text, and my average was OVER a four. I have been very happy with how smoothly we are able to transition from topic to topic, how we are able to review the topics as we move along, and how well students who aren't quite at the college reading level are able to access the material at the beginning of the class. By the end of the class, I find that exposure to journal articles etc. helps bring the reading level of all the students up, independent of the text I use.

my name is Yvonne. I teach with this book. It is ideal for getting a quick overview of all the test content if you are a good teacher who supplements appropriately and does all the expected College Board labs. it is not overwhelming; MOST of my 70 students earned 4s and 5s using this book. I don't know how to delete that bogus review. I am certain it was a lazy student. I mean, really, how many Yvonne's are out there teaching with this new book and authors, 1st edition. It wasn't me. It does not deserve a 1. I was actually on here looking for the price to tell my parents what it would cost to buy a home copy. Too high.
