Very poor build quality; visible lines on the front where the pieces of wood have not joined together properly - see photo. No protection on the base; so it is likely to scratch any surfaces you place it on over time. I was in two minds to return it, but too much hassle and I will use it, but not put it in a prominent place in my kitchen. Very disappointed. one of the poorest quality products I have purchased for the kitchen.

Very stylish and sturdy. Heavy enough to stay stable but not too heavy to lift/carry. It is slightly darker gray in real life than it appears here but that's perfect for me. The only thing I wish was different is for it so stand more upright, but I guess then it could easily fall over and you wouldn't want that with knives!Update: after about 7 months of use, it has quite a few minor scratches and marks, even though I've been careful not to stab or slide knives over it. It's not a complete deal breaker and I like it more than knife blocks but if I had the option to have a wall-mounted magnetic knife rack, I would choose that instead

It makes a change to find something made in uk Sheffield to be exact ,it’s a fantastic knife holder I have 8 heavy knives on it they stop wear you put the great English workmanship

Right ..item received damaged crack all done middle of main board .and the back support had come away £32!!!!! .shud of been £10

Not great. Marks easily and won’t hold large knives or small ones due to the magnet placements .
