I got this for “art class” with the boy but I Enjoyed using it as well. It’s not the sturdiest in the world but remember it is a children’s toy, for children to enjoy and learn. It is entertaining and it gets the job done. It is also inexpensive so I would not expect too much from it but it comes with 2 bags of clay (which is about $10 to buy anyway so in reality the machine just costs $10), so worth it - for the price point and entertainment it brings. It just gets the job done and is so therapeutic. It is loud but that does not bother me, you can put some amount of pressure on it before it’s wheel stops spinning but if you rest your hands on the base you will be able to put some pressure.

The pottery kit did not come with a courd to plug in to the wheel to make it spin i tried 2 other chargers to see if it will work but did not. But my kid loved the pottery wheel and had so much fun.

I can’t press down hard on the wheel to shape my pottery without it feeling flimsy, but overall good product.

Worked great! Bought is as a fun date night activity, and it was so fun! Only tip I would say is don’t add a lot of water to the clay! Only wet your hands and then use it! The clay easily can become too wet to work with!

I bought brand new batteries and this doesn’t turn on.I get that it’s cheap and I was fine with that because I just wanted to create a couple funny videos with it not create great artistic masterpieces. But it’s very disappointing when something you buy doesn’t even work! Like it won’t even turn on. I feel bad for any kid that gets this hoping to take it out of the box and play with it only to find it’s just a paper weight.Spend the extra money and get something that works if you actually want to create art projects. I’m gonna look on my local free marketplaces and see what I can find since I already threw this money down the drain.

This was great for my seven year old! Good quality for the price. I wish it came with instructions on things kids could create and how to do it. But it was also easy enough to look up and find.

The wheel doesn't spin fast enough for mold the hard clay. It broke right away but my 8 yr. got it fixed??? It was a waste of money.

I confirmed the battery size online and in the instructions. The device won’t turn on.Update: changed my review because the seller replaced the entire unit. I threw the other one away. New one works fine and is nice for a beginner.
