The spec says 220v. would it still work in other countries where 240v ac electricity is the norm?

It is a misprint in the specs. This tool is 110v

Just got mine and it won't lock an sds max bit. any ideas ???

I use these to dig clay and lever it loose. Would the shock absorbers be a weak point when I lever the dirt/clay?

I am a residential/service plumber. I used this tool every other day for 4 years. we put a beating on these things. the weakest point on this machine are the shock absorbers at the handle and the bit release. for some reason prying with this tool is hard on the shock absorbers. We have had to replace parts and send them in for service. Probably every other year, but still its a weak point. Dirt gets in the bit release and allows for the bit to just fall out. That is very annoying as it makes the tool almost useless.

Is the return free if I dont like it

I don't know the answer to that, sorry.
