Cyclamate, where have you been all my life?The best sweetener I've ever tried. Fantastic for keto/carnivore/fasting. Pleasant tasting, no aftertaste whatsoever, and a little bit goes a long way. This is going to be my go-to from now on. It does contain sodium saccharin and lactose, the ratio of saccharin to cyclamate per tablet being 0mg cyclamate to 4mg saccharin, but I cannot detect it. Carbs by labeling law are listed as less than 0.5g per 100 grams, with one tablet weighing 0.06g.Cyclamate and erythritol have no effect on insulin, making them less likely to stop ketosis or autophagy than aspartame or sucralose. (Some studies suggest that erythritol might have mild antioxidant properties and could influence glucose metabolism in a beneficial way.) This also means that using aspartame and sucralose may be *just as bad* as using sugar- perhaps worse, as you tend not to moderate these sugarless alternatives. Moreover, in the human body, aspartame metabolizes into methanol > formic acid > formaldehyde.Stevia generally doesn't effect insulin, but it tastes NASTY, and many stevia products contain fillers like dextrose or maltodextrin which will disrupt ketosis. Xylitol is great, and good for dental health (morning coffee..) and for baking, but its not calorie-free and will affect insulin.I tend to use cyclamate and erythritol in combination- for baking, erythritol provides the bulk, and melts for candy-making. Erythritol imparts a heavier, more caramel taste that lingers on the palate, and cyclamate is, I guess, brighter/lighter.Is there really any wonder cyclamate is not freely available in Western markets? If I were conspiracy-minded, I'd be reminded of Donald Rumsfeld's involvement in aspartame's approval, and the revolving door of industry/big pharma and government regulation. It's nearly impossible to find a beverage or any other sugarless product that doesn't have aspartame and/or sucralose. Even SodaStream's non-diet syrups are loaded with these unhealthy sweeteners.The only thing I don't really like is the dispenser. It's a cute idea, but every time I use it it jams. Also, the safety tamper ring isn't obvious to the first time user, so it may not work right away, you'll think you've broken it, or just not understand its purpose.A small price to pay. I wish I'd had this product from the beginning.

Easy to use, does as advertised

Pros: It's cheap (about half the cost of Stevia) and convenient.Cons: Needs hot liquid to dissolve completely and the dispensing mechanism need redesign. Pressing in the middle causes jams every once in a while, fixed by inverting the dispenser and tapping.I've found that pressing the right (in both senses) side of the dispenser works better.

I discovered tablet sweetener, like this one, while traveling in Germany December 2024. I'm thrilled I was able to order this in the United States via Amazon. The only downside is that tablets periodically get stuck in the dispenser. I found shaking the bottle up and down between each press of the button helps, but is not 100%.

I am so pleased to have found this product! As a user of sweetner tablets for 60+ years, I have really appreciated the convenience of full grain tablets...easy to use, easy to carry a few when going to a restaurant, easily available. Things have changed...full grain tablets are getting more difficult to find and prices are outrageous. This brand is available at a good price! Be prepared for shipping to take longer, but the wait is well worth it.

My father in law is German but lives in Cananda. He used to always bring them back from Germany for me. So happy to find them here. I love the taste and ease of use.I don't have issues with the dispenser, maybe I am used to it. Just make sure you allow the whole pill to come out before letting go of the top plunger. If it jams turn upside down and gently tap. Hope that helps.

After going to Germany, I’m happy to have found these here for a family member with diabetes. They love the taste especially when used inside coffee and it lasts for a good while. The dispenser makes it fun to prepare your drink.
