Sturdy, Secure, No Annoying Rattles. Easy to install.
Works perfect. No rattles, secure. Easy to install. Our 100lb dog is not destructive so doesn't try to break through. We just needed to deter him from getting up into the front seats. Used it in my Infiniti QX70. Paired with a lower net barrier for between the bucket seats. It extends side to side and up. It's exactly what we were looking for.

Be aware of its size
I ordered this for my new Hyndai Tucson 2022. A word of warning if you do this same, you will have to work to make it fit. As the item comes, it is too big to fit between the top of the rear seats and the roof, however not all is lost. Remove the top rail (it slides out of the vertical tubes) then remove the top rail plastic grips. To do this you will need to use a pair of soft nose pliers and gently twist them off the vertical tubes. Once this is done there will be clearance between the vertical tube and the roof. The guard itself it sturdy and adjustable for the difference widths and shapes of vehicles. The only gripe I have is that the bottom adjustable rail (square one)rattles when driving. That will soon be cured with something wedged in the tubes. All in all, worth the investment.

I got my freedom back and dog is safer
Adopted a two-year-old large chocolate lab mix who came with some bad habits and would not stay in the back of my Nissan Pathfinder and was all over the car (mainly drivers seat) when left in the car for a bit - and always chewing into something.I have tried other barriers in the past with previous dogs and they never worked well. When i saw this I got pretty excited at its potential. It arrived in two days, was very easy to install and secures tightly to the headrest posts and is highly adjustable upward and to the sides. Did a test drive with the dog and made some adjustments along the way to get just the fit I needed. I don't think my dog likes it, but I love it and he does have some nice toys in the back to keep him occupied.

doesn't stay secure on my car
I have a 2020 subaru forester and the way this secures to the headrests doesn't work. This is probably destined for the free corner once I find something that fits better - just debating about trying my luck with another universal fit product or paying the ridiculous prices the dealer is asking for the one from Subaru. I should add that this is probably more an issue with the car than the product itself but other cars may have a similar issue. It connects to the rods on the headrest that go into the seat but they need to be a bit long because the bracket is at least an inch - on our car that means the headrest can't insert far enough to be secure.

Sturdy and easy to install and adjust
Purchased this dog barrier because I did not want one that used pressure against the ceiling of the car to stay in place. I installed it a 2013 Subaru Outback in just a few minutes. It attaches easily to the adjustable headrests. The adjustable sides and height easily Adjust once installed to cover the width and height of the vehicle. It is very sturdy and does not rattle or squeak while driving around. Although it’s easy to take in and out I leave it the car all the time since it does not obstruct your vision. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a dog barrier and has adjustable head rests.

Rattling Barrier
This did not fit my vehicle and had to remove parts to make it try to fit. Then it made so much noise rattling had to turn the radio up so loud not to hear it.

Headrests MUST be adjustable to install.
The reason I gave it a 3 star was because it doesn’t work on the third row headrests on my Sienna. That’s actually my fault as I didn’t realize the back headrests weren’t adjustable. I’m extremely disappointed as it appears to be a great product, sturdy enough to keep my Newf in the middle of the car( middle seats taken out). He likes to jump over 3rd row seat and out the back when rear door open. The directions to attach to headrest rails seemed easy enough. I would definitely buy again if I had adjustable headrests.

4Runner install issues
I have a 2015 Toyota 4Runner. The barrier fits ok, but not great. I saw in the instructions that it does not fit 2018 4Runner, which had me concerned. I installed the barrier and noticed that it was super tight trying to lock the bar to the right passenger headrest because of the seatbelt retractor for the center seat. I was able to get it locked, but I had to push really hard on the headrest to lock it down. I also had to remove the center seat headrest. Furthermore, because of the design, the barrier tends to squeak while driving. Overall, it seems to be a decent product.
