I bought this instead of replacing the end caps. This is a simple and neat solution to fit a thru axle wheel into a QR frame.

Used this to convert my cross bike so it was compatable with my turbo trainer wheel. Works brilliantly.

I had a quick release ratchet style mechanism that failed on my front wheel, so I had to cut it off from the front wheel hub on my bike, A quick google and this looked like it would work with standard QR skewers which I had in my toolbox, I whipped out the old bearings whilst I was at it and replaced for new, fitted this hub adapters, slid over the end caps and the QR skewer and sorted! Saved me spending £30 for a new 12mm ratchet skewer (which would probably end up seizing again anyways)
