Photography, 2E 2nd Edition

Good learning book

Pleasantly surprised with this basic introductory book on photography. My only compliant was with the shipper who mailed it in a plastic bag so the spine was broken when it arrived. If they are going to charge $4-5 for media mail at least send it in a box for some protection.

This book should be on every new photographers buy list. In fact I think I'll put together a photo list and add it!It's a largish textbook that is both well designed and clear. A rare find in textbooks, it actually teaches! I've found it very useful, very comprehensive and it's taught me quite a bit.It's stylish, color, and will replace a lot of other books simply because it covers so much ground (not just technical aspects, but stylistic and subject matter). Amazon has it for a good price. I found this while shopping at Fry's and Amazon had it much cheaper.

Bought the previous version than what was required for my class. Rather than spending a ton of money on the current one, I figured not much had changed. I was right. This book had everything I needed in it.

This book provides one with the information and knowledge needed to understand photography at its fundamental level. A must for serious photographers.

As everyone knows, college books are quite expensive and often hard to find. It's good to turn to Amazon.com and quickly find the textbook, for less than retail, and shipped in time for class!

Not for me but useful if yur into developing films etc old style cameras .

It’s very old. A lot of the content is outdated. Half the book relates to film and darkroom photography. 2 stars because I found the lighting topics relevant.

I have received a second hand book, with all markings done. It wasn't mentioned in the description not in the invoice that this book is second hand.
