The Story of the X-Men Level 2 Reader (World of Reading)

these are good beginning level books to get kids interested in reading who are more intrigued by characters and action. super hero stuff is always a bit violent but the violence seems muted and simplified.

The first few pages talk about how everyone is different and we shouldn't be afraid of someone just because she/he is different. Then on to Professor X's dream - humans are nice to mutants! (read people who are different than you).A simplified summary of how these characters came to be. Just what I was looking for.

My 6 year old son didn't like to read but he loves the Marvel super heroes. He loves to read now that I purchased this series of books. These books are easy to read and have great illustrations. I highly recommend this purchase.

This book was an introduction to the X men. My son enjoyed the book . The words matched the level . My son likes to read it over and over .

5 year old boy adores this whole series of books and they've got him reading avidly. More motivating than Chip, Biff and Kipper if you have a little superhero on your hands.
