Beware of planned obsolescence!
I was looking for COTTON prefolds. Grovia stated that there is bamboo, but it wasn’t in a place where I saw it soon enough. The Dandilion brand (who made 100% organic cotton diapers) I loved so much isn’t anywhere to be found anymore. When I saw these Grovia prefolds, I took a shot because Grovia is a brand that I’ve used and liked. Well, I don’t know when I realized that there is bamboo in these prefolds, but it was way too late and now after using them a few months, they are WAY too small. And it’s not just that the baby got bigger, because the size 4s I bought for overnight protection for a three year old and they were WAY too big! Now those size fours are PERFECT for my one year old? Nah! Something is horribly wrong with this.Beware of planned obsolescence! I’m not even just talking about just these Grovia prefolds, I mean ALL of them. If it has bamboo or rayon in it, you may be able to use them for about a year...MAYBE! IF the prefolds have bamboo in them they are going to shrink waaaaay down and that is exactly what happened with the ones I bought. I almost want to buy one more just to take pictures, but not worth it. I’ll buy a size 3 of another brand that makes 100% organic cotton and take pictures.***Update: Those size four prefolds I said were perfect for my one year old are now the same size as the size three prefolds in the pic. In the second picture, it’s three size fours that now measure at three completely different sizes; and two size threes that now meaure at two different sizes. The smaller size fours in the picture are the older ones. The biggest one you see there is one of the more recently purchased ones. LOOK at the difference in size!!! Notice the size four and the size three in the middle are the EXACT same length??? Pathetic! Grovia, shame on you!I took pictures of two of my size 3 Grovias next to a size two Dandilion and a size five Dandilion. These size threes were almost the size of the size five in the picture and I mean after prepping it! So it was PERFECT... for a few months. Now I’m about to throw them away. Those Dandilion diapers I bought about 4 years ago and here they still are! Those Grovias are about to go into the trash or my cleaning rag bin because the do NOTHING as diapers. I can’t strip them or anything. So thank you, Grovia! I bought these to get away from disposable diapers and yet these are disposable.

Great sizing, extra steps to remove stains
I bought these diapers for my newborn son. I was looking for a size that fit small newborns. I have been using these for about a week now on my 5 and a half pound infant. The fit on these diapers is excellent for his size, with plenty to spare for him to grow into. The pictures I have included show size of these diapers are being washed and used for about a week.My only critique with these likely has to do with what they are made of. These are made from 55% rayon (bamboo) and 45% cotton. My wife nurses our son and upon washing these diapers retain a bright yellow stain from bm's. I have several other cloth prefolds from other brands that are 100% cotton and any stains wash right out. I only took away one star because on GroVia's website they have some excellent instructions to deal with stains and cleaning. They highly recommend hanging wet diapers (straight out of the washer) on a cloth line in the sun for some time. I will say this does take the stains right out, but seeing that winter is fast approaching this may not be an option for much longer. Other than the stains and extra steps to remove, these are terrific prefold diapers and I plan on purchasing larger sizes as my son grows into them.

Lowered rating to one star after 3months
These are good diapers, incredibly soft, wash well, easy to pin, satisfying absorbency. It takes long time to dry them, pure cotton prefolds are dry and these still humid after drying cycle. Also they developed a hole after just few washing right on the spot with Grovia stamp, like more customers mentioned. And we have gentle front loaded machine. So by my opinion they don’t worth the price. I can get more of high quality cotton prefolds for the same money. They perform as well. Moreover I bough them before I found out what “bamboo” fabric means. My mistake.I wanted natural fibers on our baby’s skin, not synthetic (like “bamboo” viscose actually is). So I’ll stick with cotton and hemp in future.UPDATE: after 3months of light using (maybe 12(?) hot cycles in HE washing machine) these diapers completely fell apart, the material makes cracking sound and the fibers are breaking! Also the fabric in middle panel shifted and makes big bulges on one side. While our cotton diapers looks about the same after 5months of heavier using, these are complete garbage.

Most absorbent, use for overnights
I love these so much! I've only had three and have used them for his overnight diapers as a trifold insert with the Wegreeco diapers (which are the only diapers that I can find that really keep him as dry as possible with the inserts pretty full. During the day, I change him every two hours, depending...But, I never use these alone. I used the Damero gussetted charcoal inserts on top of the trifolds. That gives me maximum overnight absorbancy.Regarding the diapers, I'm stuck between the nice fit of the Charlie Banana and the Wegreeco because the Charlies are adjustable, but their top layer doesn't keep him dry and the Wegreeco do. In other words, he's got smaller thighs, so the Charlies fit snuggly around his thighs and the Wegreeco almost do. But, the Wegreeco top liner keep him dry and the Charlies don't. I use both. For the Charlies, I put these trifolds inside the pocket and the Charlie's inserts, soft side up, on top of the pocket. But, as far as absorbancy, these are A-MAZING!

Best Prefolds
I LOVE these prefolds. They are so soft and absorbent! Of course that comes at a price- they are not the trimmest. For my super soaker, I only use these now. I sold off all my GMD prefolds. As much as I loved them, they couldn't perform nearly as well as these. I use them pad folded in a cover mostly, but also occasionally angel wings them and jelly roll the legs. Snappis and Boingos stick just fine.Tip: for the larger sizes, don't fold along the pre-sewn lines to pad fold. Fold the opposite way (hope that makes sense). It fits perfectly in a cover on medium rise that way.
