Enamelware Oval Plate, 11.75 inch, Vintage White/Blue (Set of 4)

In spite of knowing the dimensions, it’s smaller than expected. The brim of the plate is fairly wide leading to less space for food to sit. However, it’s actually a quite appropriate amount of space for a meal (burger on one side, salad on the other, etc). The oval shape helps you to only need one plate, as opposed to a plate for your burger and a small bowl for your salad.

I noticed someone's negative review mentioned that it can't be microwaved. That's the kind of person who orders peanut butter and gives it a negative review because it has nuts in it. So to counter that moron, here's my review. These plates are great. No, you can't microwave them. You're going to be ok.

The rating is based on the fact that I had to return them because I didn't realize that that enamelware is not recommended for microwave use. The plates looked fine, but had to be returned.

Pretty plate, matches my other dish sets. Great for outdoor use. A little pricey considering I found the same plate a week later for under half the price in a brick & mortar store. I still like it though.

I ordered one just because it brought back memories for me...my aunt used to have one of these from the early 1900's different color) regretted not keeping it....and I saw this and had to have it....now I want more. They seem to be non-stick - very easy to wash. (Ordered black & white )

nice looking, yet smallish oval plate

The finish on the first one I bought seems to be degrading a bit, but I like them enough to have bought a 2nd. Great size and shape for that boneless rib-eye!
