Surf Mud - Broad Spectrum SPF 30 All Natural Sun Protection Balm - 2 Oz

Havent found a proper way of applying it, maybe its just me. I feel like the stick packaging would have been better, personally. I found that i kept digging my nail into the tin to pick up enough product to cover larger areas of my body. I'm thinking i'm going to go through the whole tin way too fast. I will say that it feels nice on the skin, Kept me from burning and had a pleasant herbaceous scent. Would i buy again? Maybe

This has such a lovely texture and smell! It's so nice on the skin and doesn't feel heavy. However, I do a lot of intense water sports and it didn't hold up under those conditions for as long as some other kinds of sunscreen that I normally use when I'm crashing around in the water. Still, for a more mellow day in the sun or water I will definitely continue to use.

I have really sensitive pale skin, and this stuff protects my face while out in the sun surfing for hours (California, Bali, Sri Lanka...). Stays on until I want it off, and doesn't leave my face oily after.

A finely-crafted, smooth paste with a very pleasant scent. Tea Tree may be nature's miracle, but I've never been a fan of the scent. This product however has a very subtle scent. The paste itself is smooth, and applies easily. I needed something with a firmer consistency that I could put on certain areas of my face, without running or stinging. This is just that. No irritation, clogging of pores, stinging of eyes, or running. Also perfect for those European tanners who need some protection on their.... uhm, nips.

I'm allergic to many chemicals in skin care products (especially SLS) so I'm always on the lookout for excellent "clean" products - this is one of them. I live on the beach and have to protect my face from sun - I apply this daily every morning as part of my routine. My skin loves it and it smells wonderful and I don't get sun burned. Also, I find it's a wonderful "primer" under my bare minerals powder. I love the MUD!

The smell is noticeable, but pleasant unless you do not like the ingredients. As long as you let it melt a little on your fingers spreading isn't too bad. Nothing like traditional sunblock, but if you don't want a bunch of harmful ingredients, not only to you but to the environment, this is a great alternative.

It stinks. Like really bad. But within minutes the smell is gone and it works way better than any sunscreen I’ve ever used on my sons face that even with sunscreen, gets burnt. We just did the ultimate test and were outside and camping for 20 days straight. Happy to report this product is #1 just wish it smelt better.

Upon opening this I was a little taken aback by the smell. It's very medicinal. Once I applied it to my face the smell was gone. So if you are like me and hate when you can smell product on your face, this sunscreen is a good choice. It also performs good under makeup and doesn't cause makeup to pill. Good stuff!
