G-ShockCasio Men's GW-3000B-1AJF G-SHOCK SKY COCKPIT Tough Solar Radio Controlled MULTIBAND 6

This is only the second Casio that I own that actually has hands, but there's no denying that Casio did this one right. It comes in a black box, stuffed inside a cardboard box. This caught me by surprise as I have two more G-Shocks that came in a tin can. But then I realized that this is an import, and probably gets packaged differently in Japan. I like the subtle orange on black and the face reveals that there's plenty going on without the added flash of a watch designed for hip-hop stars. It's a relatively large watch, but I'm a relatively large guy, so it all works out for me. Out of the box, you can see the exceptional quality, although to my eye, there's no such thing as a bad G-Shock. The multiple layers of the dial face provide an interesting perspective and a little depth that you don't normally see in an analog watch. Programming isn't too difficult and under most circumstances, the watch should set itself within 24 hours as long as you have it set correctly and live in an area where the watch is able to get a good signal. Be advised that if you get this watch as an 'import,' no English directions are included. Fortunately, mine came with a business card from the supplier that included the URL for online English directions. All in all, this is an awesome watch!

This watch is RAD. It is beefy without being uncomfortable. Read the instructions online knuckleheads- there is only one city in Canada that you can't synchronize a time zone for this watch - everyone else in the whole world can find the correct corresponding city for their timezone. The readout is not hard to see unless you just have bad eyes. There are just four modes so it really isn't super complicated. The best thing about this watch is that it is the classy aviation series but without the chain link band, and this one has the best price of the aviation lineup. Says JAPAN on the back of the face and fits comfortably on my medium sized wrists. This watch has a digital brain but a purely analog face. Buy with confidence.

The watch looks great.... but I can't set it. The instructions are in Japanese. I searched for some videos on how to set and could not find one for this specific model. There are some videos for watches that are mostly the same. What I didn't realize when I bought this is that the watch is set to a specific time zone and I can't figure out how to set to mine. It is set to GMT -3 and I can't figure out how to change it. When I think I set it correctly, based on the instructions in videos, it defaults back to GMT -3.So, yeah.... frustrated here. I set the watch aside for now and will wait for someone smarter than me to help me figure it out.

The watch looks great. I have mine for almost an year now. Unfortunately it's impossible to set. After trying for numerous hours I have given up. I tried everything including watching YouTube videos, following the manual but nothing seems to work. Its just gathering dust at a corner. Sometime I try to set the time hoping that it will work this time but to no avail. Hopefully one day.

I have had and have other g shock watches. I have enjoyed wearing them all. I have the non multi band version of this one and purchased this model so i would'nt need to manually set it(too much work). After sitting at my computer for 3 hours looking at the translated instructions blown up so i could read them, i let my wife try it. After another two hours we put it on my wrist to wear, as the time was only one hour off the local time.13 hours ahead, japan time. I took it to a jewelry store and let them set it. Now, I can enjoy it, as it's correctly set. Only the date is off, I can live with that.

I own a few Casio/G-Shock watches. This is one of the best for the money... Should you end up with one of those watches that comes out of Japan - including the instructions, all you have to do is look up the module number (in a small rectangle on the back of the watch) and you can bring up the instruction manual on your computer. In fact, reading the instructions online is easier than the tiny booklet that Casio sends with their watches. Yes, highly recommend this watch.

Spent several hours looking for a rubber banded casual watch.Criteria was it had to be Casio, atomic, and solar.My current everyday watch is a Casio PRG550-1A1CR Titanium.I wanted something a little more relaxed to wear sometimes.Bought a few and sent them back, realized I'm not a digital guy.I like an analog watch.This watch was delivered to today.Found the English manual online..It was set to NYC time, I changed to CHI (central) time and added DST.It took me 4 minutes to do that.I'll mess with the manual more later, I don't need the alarms or stopwatch.I like it and will probably keep it.My ONLY issue is that there is no light in it and I knew that before I bought it.My only other option was the Casio Men's PRG550-1A4 Pro Trek, but I already have the PRG550-1A1CR Titanium version of it.I didn't really want two of the same watch.I wanted another watch for casual wear that was different from my metal banded watch.I was afraid the GW-3000B was going to be too thick, but it is only 1mm taller than what I currently wear.It is also about the same size as the PRG550 I was already wearing..If I do send this one back and order the PRG550-1A4, it will only be because there was no light in this one.Update 7/23/2016.I did end up sending this watch back after wearing it around the house for a couple hours.My PRG550-1A1CR is much easier to glance at and see the time.The GW-3000B is almost impossible to do that.Between the domed crystal reflecting too much light, the darker colors of the face, and the watch face in general just being too busy for my tastes, it went back today.It took too much effort to look at and focus on the hands of the watch.Nice watch, but just didn't work for me..

取説を詳しく見てなくてやり方があるかもしれませんが、時間がたつと暗いところでは時計の針が見えない。でもトータル的(形、軽量等)には気に入ってます。
