Bruder Toys 02813 Mack Granite Flatbed Truck with JCB Loader Backhoe

My grandson loves this. He is 3. There is a turning knob that already is almost broken off. I suggest waiting until a bit older for this.

Awesome toy for kids that want to emulate their favorite real life construction equipment. The details are great and it’s durable enough for when they want to play with it in the dirt outside.

You have to know your kid and what your kid likes. My kid loves trucks with trailers, and he has good but not great fine motor skills. This toy has appealed to him more than some of the other expensive Bruder trucks have. It's a bit easier to work with than some of the other Bruder trucks. The side-arm garbage trucks require some very good fine motor skills to get the arm to go out, hook the can, and bring it all the way up and dump it. My kid got a bit frustrated with it. This truck, though, is simple enough that he can easily get the loading ramps up and down, can easily get the backhoe on and off, can get the cab hood up and down, etc.And, of course, once the backhoe is off all sorts of other things can go on the trailer. Lots of fun. As Bruder trucks go there's a lot to do with this one, and the cab doors open and close. For my kid that was very important. On our other Bruders the cab doors don't open, and if the kid wants to put a driver in there--well, you need to have doors that open.These Bruder toys are VERY well made and very precise, and seem to do best with kids who like careful, thoughtful, gentle play. If your kid likes to smash stuff, he's going to turn this into an $84 pile of plastic parts pretty quickly. These are NOT as sturdy as the Tonka trucks of old.This thing is massive, almost three feet long, and it does have massive amounts of the wow factor. When the kid sees it he is just stopped in his tracks it looks so impressive.

This pricey "toy" was purchased for a 3 year olds birthday party. Hid it under the other packages, because I had a feeling that the construction minded little guy would be "done" once he saw it. Needless to say, he loved it and fell asleep next to it on the garage floor! It seems to be a durable plastic, which IMO is better for toddlers than the heavy metal ones. The details are accurate and appear to scale! (Important to those operators who "know"). I purchased a 2nd one for his brother turning 2 soon in order to avoid battles. A soon to be 3 year old cousin practically cried because now he wants one for his birthday. Have to do it because Nana is always fair. :) I love this product and also the seller who was great with quick delivery.

Worth the money, my grandson treats it like a real truck. When he gets done playing with it he washes it . It’s so realistic. If you are a truck lover this is the toy for your kids. I have one that’s been modified into a RC truck. No one messes with it but me. This is an expensive toy but so worth it.

The truck is Great,but it is missing 1 grey ramp. He doesn't want to send back,he loves the truck.is there anything we do?

So I had been looking at Bruder toys for a while to get for my son. I was certainly hesitant, since they are on the pricey side. But this past Christmas one of the toys my son saw under the tree was this truck. First off, this thing is BIG. Which is nice, but when it is not being played with it takes up a good deal of floor space.This thing is cool! From a distance it looks super detailed, but from up close the details are rather crude. There is nothing wrong with that. It prevents easily breakable parts. And that is probably the best thing about this toy. It is meant to be played with. Things pop off or move instead of snapping. Then it is easily put back together. Everything works like the real thing, and the controls on the back-hoe seem to not even be there because of how well it is designed. We have only had this for a few months now, and I can't wait to see my son playing with this in the dirt and sand. I am very impressed, and will continue to buy and recommend Bruder products.

This is what I hear when playing with this truck. Our 5 yo loves opening the hood and working on the realistic looking engine. This is yet another great Bruder truck. Well made with many different moving parts and all the right realistic working parts. Bruder left no detail unturned. Even the wheel blocks to hold the backhoe in place. The backhoe is also very realistic and has many moving parts. The truck is plastic but is well made. We do take time to teach our kids how to play with the trucks and have not had any problems with quality. The trailer is sturdy and we have put 30+lbs of child on it and pulled them around. The trailer is also big enough to carry a bulldozer and backhoe. This truck blows any Tonka out of the water.Tip: Take the time to show your child how to play with this toy and they will get hours of enjoyment out of it.
