Ear Plugs for Sleep Soft Silicone Reusable, Earplugs for Sleeping Noise Cancelling(4Pairs) Multicoloured : desertcart.co.uk: Health & Personal Care

Review: Saved Our Marriage - I have a deviated septum which gives me a postnasal drip, the result being power drill level snoring. I've never cared about this because I can't hear myself snore, but it's always been a bit awkward in social settings (e.g. sleep overs, travelling etc). I've even had people in other rooms come to make sure I was alright during the night because of how bad my snoring can get. Despite this flaw, my devoted then-partner decided he liked it so much that he wanted to put a ring on it. However, I have expensive taste and recognised that the man needed to sleep so he could work to pay for said ring. So, in July 2024, I bought him these ear plugs as a goodwill gesture expecting them to do nothing much. I worried our entire life would be spent with him sleeping weeknights on the couch, but - to our mutual surprise - I was wrong. These ear plugs actually worked! He said with them in he can just about still hear me snore, though it's super feint and sounds more like heavy breathing, despite being right next to me in bed! Sure, they do sometimes fall out of his ears during the night, but by that time they've done their job and got him off to a sleep from which there is no awakening until the alarm goes off. He says he can't live without them and it has been wonderful having him back in the bed. We have only had to reorder these because we adopted a puppy who's chewed them all to bits, otherwise they would probably have outlasted the both of us. For the price, you really can't argue with such a grand product! Highly recommend these marriage savers.
Review: She can sleep better now - I bought these ear plugs because my girlfriend is a very light sleeper and my snoring was causing problems. They have made a noticeable difference and have helped her get a much better night's sleep. They are soft, comfortable, and easy to wear without feeling too intrusive. The reusable design is also a bonus and makes them good value for money. They don't block out every single sound, but they do a great job of reducing noise and have definitely helped with the snoring issue.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there a special wY to wear these, I could hear everything**
A: You have to stuff them in pretty far! People complain about the vacuum effect when you remove them but you just have to wiggle them as you pull the long stalk. My wife is a HORRIBLE snorer but I sleep like a baby with these in.

**Q: Are these really foam or just soft plastic? Thank you**
A: More like a soft plastic/silicone than "foam" but are just as soft as foam ones.

**Q: There are no instructions on how best to use them. They caused a vacuum when taking them out. Can you help?**
A: I have another similar pair that came with instructions, and are soft silicone and generally very good (although I do loose one half the nights). Awesome comfortable and sound blocking when done right...but must be soft medical grade silicone I think.

The trick to avoid a big vacuum & to set them in right is to pull/lift the top of the ear upwards as you insert/remove with a quarter turn. E.g. for the right ear; use left hand to lift upper part of ear upwards (to open up ear opening a bit) & then insert with right hand, with gentle quarter twist motion. Let go. Do same to remove.

This works with my other brand.

**Q: Can I sleep sideways with these? The one's i have hurt my ears when sleeping sideways..**
A: You would have to cut the ends off small enough to fit into your ears so they dont poke out. That would be the only way you could sleep on them sideways without hurting your ears. They are easy to trim.
