BEST thing I've tried for the peeling skin of Seboric Dermatitis!!!
To preface, I have Seboric Dermatitis (a form of eczema). It makes my skin a lovely peeling, disgusting mess around my nose, mouth, chin and a spot between my eyebrows. It's worse in cold, dry winter air (which is half the year in eastern Oregon). It's also worse during stress. So basically about 90% of the time I've been feeling like a snake shedding its skin on my face. It embarrassing and hurts. So I tried a million gentle skin cleaners, creams, oils, everything. Went to the Dr who gave me an anti-fungal cream and told me to mix it half and half with hydrocortisone. Nothing worked. If I scrubbed hard enough with a rag to get the peelings off, it was practically raw.Fast forward about a month ago we went to Vegas. The hotel had three, yes three, of the little stores with barely English speaking people pushing under eye cream bag and wrinkle cream. Somehow my husband was dumb enough to get roped into talking to one of the gals, who was then close enough to grab my arm and propel me into a chair. After putting on the eye cream, I said what I really want is a way to get rid of this nasty peeling mess. She says she has just the thing. Having been to many "parties like melaleuca and Mary Kay" I was like no way are you putting anything on me, I'll peel even worse! So she puts a little gel formula on the back of my hand and gently massaged it in. Talk about a DISCUSTING mess, rolled up pieces of gunk were all over my hand, sort of like when you rub rubber cement, but a couple hundred peeling deals. Did I mention it was gross looking? Anyway she said it's taking off the dead skin cells. I thought ya right, it didn't feel like sand scraping like every other exfoliater I've tried. So I figured it had to just be the gel globbing up and "looking" like dead skin. But when she washed it off my hand was nice and smooth. At that point I was irritated enough with this 20 yr old telling me how old I looked (eye wrinkles) and just wanted to get out of there. BUT I was intrigued with the (slight) possibility this could help my face without it hurting. So I haggled, a jar for $49 and a bunch of other "free gifts". That's a crazy amount of money to me, but nothing when you look at the amount of stuff I tried the lady few years that didn't work and were just thrown away, 100's of dollars worth. So I was ok with this bargain. Also I need to note, there were two types of the shops, Vine Vera and Vivo Per Lei, which seemed identical except in packaging colors. It was the Vine Vera I'd bought.Anyway, went back to the hotel room and tried it on my face. It did the same as on my hand, in the areas of peeling skin, huge rolls of gunk came up, the cheeks and forehead nothing. It didn't hurt (you rub this in GENTLY). Washed it off with a wash rag. ALL my peeled skin was gone! For a couple more days it was STILL gone! This has NEVER EVER happened in the 4 yrs I've been fighting this dermatitis. I think the directions say to use it once a week as basically a micro-dermabrasion. When my peels came back in a couple days I tried it again.Again success and they stay away a couple days!!! I'm gentle and it doesn't hurt. One time I rubbed aggressively on my chin, it hurt some and got some red bumps that stayed a while. Lesson learned, rub gently. Also DON'T use too much, less works, too much is too think and it does nothing. Probably a large pea size is enough for my chin, nose and between the eye brows, possibly a Lima bean size for my whole face is the right amount.Note: I took pictures and I e been outside in the icy wind caring for sick calves for a couple days, so my face is bright red in the dermatitis problem areas. So in these pictures afterwards it looks really red and raw. I PROMISE this is not from this product, it's the cold air and wind. This product isn't for that, it's too remove the peeling gunk. And it does that perfectly. So the Vine Vera worked, but how would I get more? I'm not going back to Vegas for a while, so looked online for a solution. Of course you can buy it on their website for an exorbitant amount. I was perfectly willing to pay the $49 again, I mean this stuff WORKS, but like I said, not near Vegas. So on Amazon I saw this stuff in the Vivo Per Lei brand it it appeared to be the same cream at a small fraction of the Vegas price, and delivered to my door. So I thought what the heck and bought it.Guess what, EXACT same product, works like a champ! It's the BEST thing I've found to combat this sevoric dermatitis. It doesn't take away the red from cold air, but I don't have that if I'm not out in the cold wind. In fact I can actually go WITHOUT makeup if I want when the red flare up isn't there. Haven't done that in years.Bottom line, this is the exact same product as the MUCH higher priced stuff you get at the airport, mall kiosk and hotel stores. I've included pictures to show that. As I said before, don't judge the nasty red in the pictures, that's NOT from this product.Note, since I've been using this gel, the before peeling is probably 25% of what it used to be beige I start now.In the pictures there are product comparisons, before, during (the gross looking stuff) and afterward smooth (albeit red) skin. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with peeling skin or needing exfoliation. Just don't rub too hard, you DON'T need to.

Absolute best product ever for clogged pores (really sebaceous filaments)
This stuff is incredible! For years I dealt with what I thought were ugly black, clogged pores on my nose. No matter how many pore minimizing cosmetics I bought, pore strips that were both gross (I did love seeing the nasty gunk that came out of my "clogged pores"), and other facial products that promised to eliminate them, I came across this in a buzzfeed review of products with thousands of five star ratings. I read the reviews, and that's where I first learned what I thought were clogged pores on my nose are not actually pores at all, but something called sebaceous filaments. Using things like pore strips and squeezing them out makes them worse. I've seen reviews that say this product and others like it are BS & that it's just the product balling up, and not your dead skin. From what I've read on sites that feature dermatologists and skin care experts, that's mostly true, except that dead skin is sloughed off and gets mixed into the little balls that form. I think that must be true, because I can not only feel the difference, I can see it. The filaments on my nose appear much smaller, and don't look like black dots anymore! Dry spots and even some minor discoloration seem to disappear as well. I've tried SO many products before this and none have given me results anything close to this. Most haven't given me any results at all, truth be told.I do have some suggestions people might find helpful with this product. First off, many people recommend following this with Paula's Choice 2% DHA after using this. I didn't care for it personally, as it made my face feel almost a little sticky. I do know other people swear by it, so it's probably worth a try. I've found that toner from DHC is better for my skin. I follow it with Tru Skin Vitamin C Serum, and then moisturizer. If you have any "peach fuzz" on your face, I would highly recommend using a dermablade tool, which shaves it off, as well as some dry skin. I usually do that a day or so beforehand, just to avoid any possible skin irritation. I wish someone had suggested this before I used it. I had very pale, short soft hairs on my face (I get why it's called peach fuzz) that made the product harder to get off. I noticed that several people who gave negative reviews had issues related to that. Finally, I end with moisturizer. I use Olay Regenrist, but I'm in my late 40's, so it obviously isn't for everyone.I hardly ever write reviews, and never write lengthy ones, but this is the one skin care product I I feel strongly about. If you're on the fence, try it. I think you'll be very happy you didn't.

Very little actual
I’m not sure how this even works but the jar is about 2/3 empty! You can see the space all around the jelly like product! Maybe enough for 4 or 5 uses! The packaging is fancy, maybe focus less on packaging and more on quantity!
